  1. "no reason at all"... "under certain circumstances". I love the logical gymnastics you are trying to perform here, but come on, no one is falling for that.
  2. NO that is just wrong, wrong, wrong. Please learn something about how contracts work before babbling this complete and utter nonsense.
  3. I agree, that was an fantastic video@ShadowZone. Pretty much sums my entire thoughts on the situation in a way that I am unable to express myself in such clarity and detail.
  4. That is just wrong. You have clearly never dealt with contracts in your life, or you would be well aware how bad it would be for T2 financially to cancel a contract without it already being voided by ST. That of course is assuming ST didn’t sign an incredibly one sided contract which would be entirely their own fault if they did, full stop.
  5. What consequences were those? Are you saying that ST was under paying its employees, or are you saying that ST was barely soluble and the employees knew they would be out of a job soon anyway?
  6. Here is a question for people: Would it have been more ethical to pull the contract and wait for ST to go bankrupt and THEN offer the devs jobs instead? If a company can’t survive 1 single lost contract is that really the fault of T2? If that single contract was so important to their survival then why would ST signed it with the terms that apparently would allow them to get screwed? No one forced ST to sign a contract, no one forced them to work on KSP2. It seems like they signed a contract that they could not complete and unfortunately paid for it dearly. Ya that sucks, but they aren’t blameless in the situation that unfolded either.
  7. The vast majority of that letter has nothing to do with ethics. Seems unethical to me to attempt to get people to agree with you on other things by using ethics as bait.
  8. You'll have to refresh my memory, but in what world do kids routinely perform hostile take overs of each others companies?
  9. If they want to make a physical copy and throw it under the bus, that is their business. Not sure why I would care, even though that would be a little strange...
  10. I am surprised anyone is surprised by this. The writing was on the wall that something like this happened. All of a sudden there is a new developer, which didn't even have a name, and absolutely zero word from Star Theory at all about the whole thing. It was very obviously not amicable, as numerous other posters pointed out at the time.
  11. I get this bug and I don't use Kopernicus at all, and can't because I am running the latest version of KSP. Has nothing to do with it. EDIT: Just saw this might be fixed in 1.3.3, I'll let you know in a few minutes. EDIT2: Yup, that fixed the rainbow issue for me.
  12. And here we have a fine example of why we don't want the dev's to take some of the community feedback too seriously.
  13. I honestly think someone at Squad just wished upon a monkey paw for the wheel and landing gear code.
  14. Crafts are obviously going to be shareable, so obviously there will be files that can be edited. Now whether or not those files can be EASILY edited outside the game is a whole different question.
  15. No the game won’t be fun, why would they possibly design a *game* to be *fun*? Crazy talk.
  16. The UI looks just fine to me. As others have said it is hard to tell if it is better or worse until actually trying it and seeing how intuitive it is while having to use it. I assume they probably have someone who specializes or is at least experienced in UI design, so that’s gotta help. I think the original UI in KSP is fine and serves it’s purpose just fine, but it certainly can be improved upon.
  17. I said no to both. No to fuels because it doesn’t really add anything to the experience. Once you have a “good” fuel there would be no real reason to use the other fuels unless you start adding things like boil-off and those types of consequences, at which point I think they start to lose focus on one of their design pillars No to life support unless you can somehow completely ignore a ship without being punished for it by running out of resources, as that would completely violate one of their design pillars.
  18. Actually it was. Good job guys. Glad to see it is being taken seriously.
  19. Looking forward to the more info soon part. This is just a tease.
  20. I doubt it’s hitting its release window. December 2020 at the absolute earliest is my optimistic guess.
  21. I hope for the aviation enthusiasts out there that “rockets” in that pillar also includes airplanes.
