New Show and Tell tomorrow! :happy::happy::happy:

I would love that to be true.  However, the realist in me knows it is Christmas Eve and the devs need their time off too.  I'm guessing we won't get anything new to salivate over until next year.

Let there be some Friday HYPE in the forums my friends! First Friday back after the holidays, the team MIGHT be sitting in a meeting showing each other cool stuff RIGHT NOW

Altough I don't think WE will get to see anything today

Sorry to ruin the hype, but this is a bit of a red signal.

We need to spread the word the concerns involving microtransactions in ksp 2. They are a very real threat and the only thing we can really do is warn Take 2's customer base of the potential microtransactions so they have to think twice before adding anything of that nature. Ksp is one of the most unique games I have ever played and having it be gutted by micro transactions would turn it into a shallow soulless husk of what it once was.

(copy paste this around the forums reddit and ksp videos on youtube or anything else ksp related to help send the word. Or you can create your own copypasta for the low low price of $2.50!)

WE WILL NOT BUY ANY MICROTRANSACTIONS!

Not from me but I fully support

I second this. No microtransactions.

You know, keeping the steam up on the Hype Train engine while the train is sitting on a siding, not expecting a release for months, is just wasting fuel and causing excess wear and tear.

I suggest a more mellow approach.  Share what information gets released.  Wait until a release date is announced and gets close.

Two days before the semester starts is a really bad time for me to board the hype train, but oops it looks like I'm already here >_>
To be fair I've been sort of hanging around and near the hype train since 2019 or whenever the sequel first got announced, but I'd been taking a break from KSP to focus on other stuff the last few months. Alas, seeing all the new things that have been revealed is sucking me in again.

I wonder if I'll be able to finally finish the Jool-5 Challenge before the new game drops ^^;

Then we repeat the message to make sure they don't forget. Just because they say they won't doesn't rule out the possibilty of it happening, it just reduces the chance.

Can you explain what "micro transactions" are? cuz the closest thing my 9th grade mind can come up with is a Chase Freedom credit card and im pretty sure KSP2 does not implement online money. (btw that was a joke). but seriously, what are micro transactions? :o

Buying in-game currencies or resources with real money that can then be redeemed for in-game objects or bonuses. Sometimes the objects in question are completely optional and not necessary to gameplay (skins, etc.), but some games that lean especially heavily on microtransactions are structured so that the purchasable currency is both necessary to progress, and is hard to come by in natural gameplay. As such, they tend to be frowned upon by players.

so micro transactions are like stuff that you can buy for to give you an advantage or better style in game? thank god they aren't including that.
