1.7 Airplane Part Redesigns
klgraham1013 replied to SpaceCube2000's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Variations? Sure. Change PJ's art?? No. ...I really wish they would've given Porkjet the money and time he needed to finish the revamp. -

Patience is a virtue. I've been waiting since 1.3.1. Lack of colliders should be weird, but this is KSP. We've come to expect weird head scratchers in new updates.

No and no. Can we stop now?

Don't worry @SQUAD. I'm done harping on about this behavior. This will, hopefully, be the only post I do about it. Just figured I'd point out that Behavior #18017 is still a thing.

... Well, if that's where your priorities are. I guess explosions are more marketable.

Auto hiking and roving
klgraham1013 replied to DocMike's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I've always been a bit against fast travel. I think time warp is a good enough solution for KSP. We've become far to impatient these days. -
Auto hiking and roving
klgraham1013 replied to DocMike's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Autowalk for Kerbals might be good. Autopilot for rovers might be dangerous, but also good. -
KSP [was] on sale at GOG.COM for $15.99.
klgraham1013 replied to Vanamonde's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I was just commenting on the reason I prefer GoG over other services. Though I still use Steam, if it's on GoG as well, I buy it there. -
Planet Builder
klgraham1013 replied to Duck McFuddle's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
That's on Squad. They could simply have each system load when selected and not have every single thing load when launching the game. -
KSP [was] on sale at GOG.COM for $15.99.
klgraham1013 replied to Vanamonde's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I wanted to object because GoG doesn't even use DRM. Then I realized that GOG doesn't even use DRM. -
Funny how marketing departments think it's a good strategy to only tell part of their audience about the cool things their doing.

I'm betting early or first week of January now that the streams are happening.

Don't. As far as the consumer is concerned, they bought a game on Linux with joystick support. The game updated and suddenly their joystick doesn't work anymore. Really, there's no defense for regressions like these. Consumers shouldn't be required to care what engine / engine version a game is on at the current moment. Only, whether the product works as described on the tin.

Didn't they end 32 bit with 1.5 or is that coming in 1.6?
-
Definitely. KSP's bottlenecks are CPU (physics simulation) and ram (memory leaks and/or mods).
-
I did the thing and up voted a few. Can you sort by two columns? Say votes and version?

Assimilating Mods Into Stock
klgraham1013 replied to ZooNamedGames's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I think most modders would be thankful if the hole they were plugging got filled by Squad. They do have lives outside of KSP after all. Squad is the one getting paid to make the game, not modders. Mods should be restricted to "wouldn't it be cool if" and not "how in the world did it take 5+ years for this to make it into the game?" -
Could you file a report in the bug tracker?
