  1. Which game? KSP2? As far as we know, that game doesn't exist. Let alone have micro-transactions. Yeah. That line was intentional.
  2. I happen to know someone who has spent over $1000 on a free game, and I'm sure there are those who have spent even more. This 5% [citation needed] of players is who they're targeting. If the other 95% gets angry on Reddit, it's really of little concern as long as the profits continue to roll in.
  3. Why I assumed sarcasm. You did use "master race" and "peasants." Anyway, not a big deal. I just feel like this is one of the more upstanding forums on the internet. That is all.
  4. The comment sounded derogatory toward RO players. Of course it takes more skill. I just don't see the RO "master race" players actually being "holier than thou" on this forum. The occasional comment about toy solar systems doesn't equate to constant snootiness.
  5. Must be sarcasm, because I barely see that attitude on this forum.
  6. I'm a fan of part degradation over time. This would eliminate the issue of vehicles failing right off the launch pad, but would still give the illusion of old vehicles getting old. Engineers could repair parts with spares. The older the part, the faster the degradation, until you simple need to replace the vehicle. Before anyone says it. Yes, this would be a toggle.
  7. More people need to try Basic Orbit and Basic dV. In my opinion, I think they're closest to what should actually be in stock.
  8. ...and yet this thread isn't dead yet. Yeah. I don't get it either.
  9. Memory leaks. Wildly inconsistent art. Mods that are still just mods. Toy solar system.
  10. ...but they didn't. They added the sleek Porkjet plane parts and the NASA parts. The real issues comes from a complete lack of aesthetic consistency.
  11. I can't recall which version of TRR solidified it's folder structure. If it came before 1.3.1, then yes.
  12. This version of DKH was made with TRR entirely in mind. TRR allows modders to package texture packs in there own folder, like any other mod. This means no merging with a texture replacer folder. Just drop the DKH folder into gamedata, as with ever other mod, and it will work. That is what, I feel, makes TRR the future. I waited for Mod makers to update to TRR, but it wasn't happening. That's why I took it upon myself to update DKH. You can still find the old version of DKH here on Curse. Added the link to the main post.
  13. Diverse Kerbal Heads requires Texture Replacer Replaced 0.5.1. I'm unfamiliar with CKAN. I would see if TRR is on it as well.
  14. Critisim like "Take Two killing all mods!" Unfounded criticism isn't the kind to take seriously.
  15. I can make up a good comparison image. Though, at this point, I have more faith in an unpaid Ven doing this in his spare time than Squad. I am of an opinion that an art pass would have brought in more costumers, and be much easier to advertise, than a Unity update.
  16. You mean people like Squad employees? Remember, none of the art is considered placeholder and the DLC is designed to work well with all the current parts.
  17. Not sure, but the update was extremely minimal. The biggest thing was placing the legacy textures in a zip so KSP doesn't load them.
  18. I believe there was a "balance" pass at one point in which they made sure this didn't happen. Honestly, I'm not even sure it was a thing, but Squad wanted to be double sure it wasn't a thing.
  19. This makes logical sense. Than again, aren't such things needs for space travel in general, and we still don't have those tools.
  20. This sort of thing would require... ... ...an art pass.
  21. I choose yes mainly for KIS and KAS. If you swapped IR with USI Konstruction, it would be a definite yes.
