  1. The what? It will be in the next mainline release if that's what you mean... No guarantees it will be in the next dev release.
  2. K. I was getting the agena docking port in game but then the Fallout 4 Survival Beta happened a few hours earlier...
  3. Hey guys! So the other day I mentioned that there was a manual being worked on for BDB. Well, time has been poured into it the last couple days. While it is still far from 'done', and will have to be updated to keep up with the mod as it develops, here is the first version of the BDB manual! I am massively, eternally grateful to @DiscoSlelge, who took it upon himself to begin this project and has borne the brunt of the work in making it happen. We wanted to get a sort of alpha out for it, to get feedback from the peanut gallery. Future versions will have better compression, and be included in the BDB download.
  4. Shouldn't any image for the site be hosted on the site's server? That way you're not dependent on imgur.
  5. I can't speak for @DangerouslyDave, but the Physical Based Rendering that this mod would depend on has been delayed to 1.2 and will not be included in 1.1.
  6. Tweakscale is pretty stable now. The only outstanding issue is that you cannot tweakscale a root part, or it will reset after changing scene. Apart from that I have had very little issues with it.
  7. IIRC @Beale figured out they were behaving the same as any other rocket in KSP, the difference was just that his test .craft files used a probe core with no reaction wheels and wasn't compensating with some other control system.
  8. There are some propulsion things listed, but I do think the list could perhaps see some expansion. He has been focusing on communications, power, and science stuff for now. And Spacedock would come once he has a polished release.
  9. Eh. Honestly - at this point, any solution that allows me to keep it in would be as much work as designing a new part from scratch. I think I am going to let it slide. Thank you! Yes yes 3.75m and 5m (or whatever they wind up being) will be coming for the Saturn stuff. ... I just made a full release? If you mean the 1.0 version of BDB, well, that's Saturn/Apollo. I am not sure where you got the idea I have something up my sleeve, I have everything laid out pretty well in the roadmap, the link to which has been in the OP for about two months now and has not moved. There will probably be more things than in the roadmap, but only because I haven't found out I want to do them yet. EDIT: I accidentally made a KH-8 using the new DMagic update.
  10. That's why I tagged @DMagic, so that he could weigh in. I see the difference though - BDB used (I believe) one specific sciencedef from him, and one from @frizzank. There is definitely a big difference.
  11. You could ask @VenomousRequiem since she does RP configs unsolicited.
  12. Yeah there really is no defending 1.5m. Either you like using it or you don't.
  13. You could do what I did in BDB, which is copy them but name them stuff like 'CA_mag' etc, write a simple module manager script to switch them over if DMagic is installed. That way it isn't a hard dependency.
  14. Thank you! My point was there is so many other things that really only should go one way, I don't understand what makes that antenna so important. Or rather, is it worth adding a dependency just for that one thing? I'd hope if you do go that route then you'd pass it on to other things that shouldn't be retracted. Firespitter is supported enough that most heavily modded installs would already have it as a dependency, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. Either way, using DMSA is not the answer. Also why is normal DMagic listed as a dependency?
  15. I totally understand the gripe with 1.5m. I eventually settled on letting it happen because it is accurate (within acceptable deviation) for a lot of things, such as Gemini, Thor/Delta, etc. There is so much variations within the 1.25m to 2.5m size range for IRL rocket recreations that just one intermediate size (1.875m) isn't enough to handle it all. However 0.9375m a) is in Tantares and b) is an intermediate size between 0.625m and 1.25m. While not tremendously useful for rockets it does have a lot of uses for parts in payloads. That's why I singled out 1.5m as something to complain about, since to my knowledge 1.5m has neither of those things going for it.
  16. The problem is it is identical in dimensions to @Beale's, while being of significantly lower quality. There really isn't a compelling reason to keep it. I'd still finish and add the other parts that were planned to go with it, like the little solar panels etc.
  17. Didn't you lose that when your HDD died? And do we REALLY want to delay Saturn all the more? >> Accepted >> Biggest complaint against BDB @Beale got a lot of flak for his decision to use an off size in the new Gemini. BDB is very far from the average user's palate, and I don't think he'll get good feedback if he does so. With that said 1.875m is already in Tantares, so he should definitely make some more stuff in that size, as well as 0.9375m. Wait, do people hate 1.5m that much?
  18. I didn't realize that Blue Gemini actually got far enough to have different hardware other than sawing a hole in the heatshield. What purpose would it serve? Or is it just an alternate service module, in which case, is there a compelling gameplay reason for having two very similar parts? Though I of all people shouldn't be complaining about having too many parts or parts that are redundant...
  19. Every time you post new screencaps I want to say things that would get me a warning from the moderators. Also, on this note: That *really* isn't how @DMagic intended the plugin to be used, and you'll probably never be able to fix that. Most things in space are only meant to go one way, I don't see why that one antenna is so important that it has to get special treatment, y'know?
