  1. What error. There are two things being talked about. 1. USI mods hiding EPL parts 2. EPL parts not having the option to show the EPL gui. For the other poster he was not getting the build menus because EPL disables itself on Windows 64bit KSP.
  2. I think you may be confusing two things. EPL is coded to not function with KSP 64bit windows version due to the windows 64bit version being unstable.
  3. I believe it was an issue shortly after the initial release of KIS.
  4. Well maybe newer versions of KIS addressed this, but the pylon issue reared it's ugly head as soon as KIS was released last march. As soon as KIS was released we all ran into this packrat issue and there was a race for a new method. I've never tried the pylon method since.
  5. I would question your definition of "recently" unless you only recently upgraded your mods. This method of assembling the packrat ceased to work ever since KIS was released.
  6. Just a general FYI, but parts often are path sensitive. I have seen weirdness when trying to "move" parts into different folders. You would be better off simply deleting the EL_Parts.cfg out of the Umbraspaceindustries\Kolonization folder to test. This is the file that hides the EL parts.
  7. In regular MKS Rover put in a MM to hide EPL parts. Maybe it also found its way into MKS-L?
  8. Well as I have already posted, but here is another one, the PDU does have a perform maint option. Have you tried a completely clean install with only USI mods? Beyond that I am at a loss because it functions fine for me.
  9. https://github.com/BobPalmer?tab=repositories
  10. Not sure if it applies to MKS-L but the big brother MKS has always been a "bring your own storage" situation regarding TAC-LS
  11. Hyperbole aside, you aren't going to see Squad partnering with any sort of Kerbalstuff site at least until it moves beyond the "guy with a website stage". Whether you like curse or not, they are a legitimate business. that is one key component. And it's not that it can make money, but it is that the company is larger than any one person. It would be far more difficult for any one person at curse to decided they were done and take their ball and go home (which is what happened to Kerbalstuff).
  12. Looks ok. You should only have one Modulemanager DLL (newest) but this shouldn't be causing an issue. That is a lot of mods for windows. Are you running 64 bit? I would highly recommend copying KSP to a fresh directory and make a clean install with only the USI mods and test. You could have some sort of conflict but with that many mods I wouldn't know where to even begin.
  13. It's all good. I found your other post, it just took a bit of work. As I showed in my picture its does work. no you don't need any level engineer. Since you have installed twice, how about a picture of your gamedata folder and umbraspaceindustries folder?
  14. Something is not right with your install. By the way it would be helpful to fully explain as it can be time consuming to go back through your history to remember exactly what your issue is.
  15. I guess you could, but for delivering the modules alone it's far easier to use the handy skycrane pieces Roverdude added to MKS.
  16. Don't understand. In my picture the pioneer module is part of my karibou, which is in itself a rover, so I just drive it around.
  17. The beauty is that Roverdude designed the parts to fit together. Here is a quick example
  18. Yea to each their own. I like going straight to the repositories as a new mod will show up without Roverdude having to update the catalog page.
  19. And you left out other parts of that post such as "... I guess I'll upgrade the server to a better one when I have time " which in context of that post certainly doesn't make it sound like a warning of impending shut down.
  20. Exactly. But it is not entitlement to feel the way he decided to end it abruptly is giving the community the big finger, which is his right, but is sadly a poor way to go. Hosting plans are generally run at least monthly, so the posted letter could have stated, I'm shutting down the site in XX days/weeks and here is why. I will leave it up until the hosting runs out so people don't need to scramble...
  21. I'm sorry but you are mixing pieces. KSP never started as some independent guy making a game. It was a guy at his COMPANY where his company backed the project and he made it as an employee. It has nothing to do with forgetting your roots or anything like that. It is much the same way that while Squad loves the modding community you will never see them backing any individual independent mod or modder. It's not even that Squad wouldn't want to, but there are business things that go on in the world that often make those sorts of things hard or improper to do.
  22. How so? From a business perspective I doubt you would ever see Squad or any company officially endorsing something like Kerbalstuff.com it the form it was for one simple reason. Exactly what happened. Like them or not, curse is not a guy running a website on his own dime. They are an established business. While that doesn't mean Curse could run into financial or other trouble and shut down, it is far less likely than one guy who decides he's had enough.
