  1. The Left Alt F7 in both 1.3 and 1.4 causes the mod to disappear and I cant load any trees. Load into an old or new save and hit Alt F7 in the R&D building and the GUI button telling me what tree im using dissapears and then becomes unresponsive.
  2. This is a challenge I am doing on my Dark Multiplayer serve and will be streaming the series on my Twitch Channel. Premeis: There is a scary thing coming for the solar system and the kerbals must evauacte. The Kerbal Goverment has tasked 50 Kerbals to make it to another planet as similar to Kerbin as possible in another Solar System. The Kerbals have no current technology but do have contracts from other companies to help them along there path. Also there is a baseline Government funding campaign to save the Kerbal race. No new Kerbals can come onto this project due to it being top secret and there must be atleast 30 Kerbals transported to the new colony to get things going. This will be played by 2-5 BrownCoats or fellow Kerbal Rocketry Volunteers. For thoes who wish to watch the stream will be on Thursdays at 8:30 CT (Start Date TBD) For thoes who wish to join hit me up in the comments There is a mod list and a custom tech tree. I am currently creating zip and file that is drag and drop for ease of use.   7. I am messing around in the tree config files adding parts to the nodes you have already set for my personal campaign. Updating it in a way. If you(the mod authore) would like what ive done id be happy to give it to you maby save you some some work adding mods like the Umbra Space Industries mods and the ESLD jump beacons and deep freeze and a few more

  9. This is a good Tree Editor and I am bug testing it rite now to help get it more stable it uses Tech Manager or ACT to load the tree.   10. I like the Engineering based tech tree he did a really good job on it. I think Kerbals should start with at least a basic plane or something like that then move onto rockets and probes and a whole separate portion for life support needs to be added. There needs to be a branch for life support, space stations, colonization, rovers, and drones.

  12. Ok just tried it out. It did fix the problem with loading the spaceX field. The problem of Items that where placed into a node not showing because of the USI and Lack Luster Labs mods tho is still there. Seems like your getting close tho

  14. Im liking this allot. Request: Add Laztek Space X packs (Launch,History, and explorer) Also the rest of the Umbrea Space Industries mods Its not working with Tech Manager the nodes are not showing up corretctly
  15. Tree Editing 64 bit support More robust science. Id like to go to a planet and drill out a core sample take it to a lab and the kerbals will do experiments on it untill its used up. Thoes experiments woukd generate a stream of science. Settings like life support, deadly reentry, and real aerodynamics. Less mods in the load list the smoother it runs Overall I want to see (even in it will never happen): Bug fixes of course Multiplayer 1st person eva and more ship interiors with the ability to move around in them. Weather Buildable launchpads, runways, and orbital ship factory Advanced Colonization Solar system creator and planet Create A Space Program An addition to career. You can build a flag in game, create or pick from goals. Commision new programs. Upgrade your space center and expand it. Train your kerbals in diffrent skills. multi monitor and MFD suppot more mod integration
  16. Edit: More Bugs to Smash #1 Adding parts to nodes then saving them they show in game but once loaded back in the tree editor the part in the nodes are gone. I am using the tech manager format. #2 Node after the update new and old no longer show lines to the next node in game. They unlock fine but no way to trace where they go. #3 If a part say a battery is in a node earlier than it was before it will unlock the original node it was located in from the start. #4 Laztek SpaceX HD mod packs cause the Editor to not load any parts ( need theses mod parts for my tree) Ideas: Part search box and sort by mod would be really helpful Also any specific testing you want to try out let me know and ill try it. Update: After more testing I found that the mod that causes parts to not show inside of nodes in the editor are All of the Umbra Space Industries Mods and the LackLuster Labs pack. ( I need USI for my tree or half of the tree is gone) MODS THAT CONFLICT WITH 0.2.3 * LazTek Space X Packs * Umbra Space Industries Packs * LackLuster Labs Pack

I am pointing to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Kerbal Space Program +1 for a drag and drop system +1 for pictures Also like said above im not good at the config file but this allows me to do the things I want to do in the tree. See the layout of the full Tech Tree here: http://www.gliffy.com/go/publish/image/6478191/L.png Its a very expansive tree I have specific programs to research like the Space X program or the Space Station Program to get specific parts I will share out this tech tree and the modlist in one simple drag and drop zip file when its compleated. Also I will be running this on a dedicated Darkmultiplayer server for those who are interested in joining. Ok another bug. When I go into game and unlock more than 2 techs the whole tree disappears.
  19. IT has but it has no GUI so it doesn't come close to ease of use. Im using it now and it take allot longer than tree edit did.
  20. Give us a tool to edit our own tech trees please. An official tool not a mod. All of the mod tools for it are really buggy and clunky. Squad what keeps a game going is good modding tools. Look at Fallout games massive mod support and still a tone of players and people are still buying it. Things like a customizable tech tree are something that can greatly increase the longevity and replayability of a game.
