Sad to say, it didn't find and export ANY strings from EEX. Steps I did in a 1.4.1 game: install it into GameData/KSPDev Run the game At the main menu, hit alt-F8 Entered the Prefix clicked "Show assemblies with no modules" EEX showed up, so I selected it Clicked "Export strings from 0 parts and 1 assemblies into exported cfg: That's when I got the overwritten dialog I found the exported file in LocalizationTool/PluginData/Lang/EditorExtensionsRedux_strings.cfg and the total output: // Auto generated by KSPDev Localization tool at: 3/23/2018 8:00:17 AM // Total strings: 0 // Total words: 0 Localization { en-us { } } I tried the same thing with another mod. It was able to do the parts, but totally missed the DLL (ie: didn't export any strings)

Can I assume that the Localizationtool will work in 1.4.1 as well as 1.4.0? Great tool, have been putting off localization for a long time. Not sure if you are interested in UI bugs. I just exported EditorExtensionsredux, and the dialog box saying that the strings were exported and the file saved had the file Saved string overwritten by the Close button. I've put a screenshot of it here on my dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w775mr4rzxvivsy/localizationtoolError.png?dl=0

KSP-AVC Plugin 1.1.6.9 KSP Add-on Version Checker This system is a spawn from @cybutek's work on this thread, which itself was a spawn of Tyrope's endevours on this thread @cybutek has done a great job over the years with this and other mods. Unfortunately, it seems that for whatever reason he isn't willing or able to update this. This is the development thread, the release thread is here: There are several long-standing errors, to the point which is beginning to make it unreliable. So I'm going to be adopting this for the foreseeable future. If @cybutek ever comes back, I'll be very happy to return control to him So, first the forum requirements: Source code: https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/KSPAddonVersionChecker License: GPLv3 Jenkins server, where new unreleased builds will appear: https://jenkins.spacetux.net/job/G-L/job/KSPAddonVersionChecker/ I've copied all the open issues from the original thread to keep track of them. I will NOT be creating or supporting a web site to build and maintain the AVC files. I don't have the time for that, especially since the current one is still working Beta Download https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/KSPAddonVersionChecker/releases/tag/1.1.6.9 License: CC-BY-NC-SA-4.0 https://www.patreon.com/linuxgurugamer Current issues (some fixed) when the KSP_VERSION is lower than the version of the game, it doesn't check the VERSION at all. (fixed) follow symlinks Exception when trying to view installed mods on the loading screen (fixed) AVC window stuck in the middle of the screen with firewall KSP-AVC not detecting my local KSP Version against local .version files (fixed) KSP-AVC not detecting a new version Show parse error when .version JSON file has wrong syntax? (somewhat fixed)

Ok, please remove yours, it's buggy I'll be getting an initial release out this evening

Strange thing is that I see updates on KER on Github Regardless, I'm willing to take it up, and if he comes back and wants it, I'd be VERY happy to return it. But the bottom line is that his, and this one, are both broken. I can get a working release out quickly, and then work on the bugs

Unfortunately, he hasn't responded to me in 4 months :-(

[1.9.x] K2 Command Pod: Two Kerbal stock-alike pod
linuxgurugamer replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
If you don't have anything constructive to say, sometimes it's better to NOT say it. If nothing else, this allows current saves which use it to continue. -
It's one of those quirks. Could you open an issue, I'll see if I can get to it sometime

well, internally, they are wheels. I hope you are using this on 1.3.1.....

[1.9.x] RCS Build Aid Continued - New Dependencies
linuxgurugamer replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I just saw there was an error in the .version file which said this was good for 1.3.1. I fixed it, but that was the cause of your problem -
But it still works with the new version!
linuxgurugamer replied to Wolf Baginski's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
You are correct. But while he is still visiting, and is apparently working KER (I see recent updates on Github), KSP-AVC has several significant bugs which were reported to him back in October, along with a PR to fix at least one of them. Other than saying he didn't like the PR and would fix it another way, there has been no response. Given that 1.4.1 is out, and that mods are being released, there have been reported crashes with KSP-AVC, I've been trying to contact him and get a response for quite a while. If this goes much longer, no one will be able to use it reliably. As it is, I'm deleting the Min/Max info from my version files since that is where one of the significant bugs is. I'm quite willing to adopt the mod, and as I always state, am always very happy to return mods to their authors if they return, it's happened once or twice as I recall. I'm spending some time right now looking at the KSP-AVC code. It's not my usual coding style, but I'm getting the hang of it, and any changes I make will be in a similar style. -
[1.12.x] Crew R&R - Crew Rest & Rotation
linuxgurugamer replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I could, but I won't. In my opinion, you can revert if you do't want vacation. If recovered, then they have been through the whole cycle of suiting up, getting into the vessel, waiting on the pad, being decanted from the vessel, and then filling out reports. Takes time, which is what this mod forces. -
[1.12.x] NASA CountDown Clock Updated
linuxgurugamer replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yes, i do. Us eastern , either 7am or late at night. Pm me with your info, ill get back to you later today -
@N70 I and others would appreciate a reply as to your intentions with this. This is a very good mod, with a few significant flaws which need to be fixed. It needs more than "Life Support" as you put it. I've been trying to contact @cybutek about this with no success, and had mentioned at least once in the thread that I was thinking of adopting it. I'm hoping to avoid a repetition of that, and would like to get this resolved fairly quickly. To put it in blunt words, if you aren't going to fix the bugs, then please let me know so I can adopt this and fix the bugs. I think my reputation speaks for itself

[1.9.x] RCS Build Aid Continued - New Dependencies
linuxgurugamer replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
You need to install the right version for 1.3.1. and what do you mean about the icon in the top corners of the main menu. -
But it still works with the new version!
linuxgurugamer replied to Wolf Baginski's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
I don't have to take over mods, I only do the ones I like. -
Automatic internationalization script?
linuxgurugamer replied to Kerbas_ad_astra's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Nope. And I'd be interested in it as well. But, before you do, do a few searches to see if there is something out there already- 4 replies
