  1. Time for everybody to step back and relax. Everyone have a happy new year
  2. That’s actually an interesting idea. To be viable, you would need a scoop, tank, and engines that can use the scooped gases. Probable a compressor as well.
  3. Actually, I just found a bug in one of the modules in the raidernick version of BDA, and fixed it, I have submitted a PR to him for it
  4. This is an excellent idea. sad to day, @RealGecko hasn’t been around since November
  5. New release, 1.6.2: Fixed nullref when entering settings from mainmenu (ie: setting up a new game) and changing EVA fuel type
  6. A rather old post. It was somewhat arbitrary. Basically, I didn't want microhops to count, it generates enough data as it is. But it's configurable in the settings.
  7. I'll get to that eventually. I didn't make it like that. That's how @SamBelanger has done it. I might. It's a message to those who are wondering what happened to the original thread. Same as 2. You made a new thread. Great! 15 minutes of work would fix everything I commented on. It's obvious you did a copy/paste, which is normally fine. I do the same when I adopt mods. But I take a few minutes to clean things up. 30 seconds to delete 5 lines of text. That's difficult? Your choice, your decision. It's very antagonistic. You can say the same thing in a calmer way. Here, let me help you: "@SamBelanger has decided to move on in his life and is not working on the mod anymore. @Mrcarrot, @NickRoss120 and myself are working together to continue this mod" 30 seconds to highlight the text and remove the bold. Oh, and I just noticed the following: You still have @SamBelanger 's Patreon on the first page, do you really want that? The "Official Web Site" is a dead link Wow, how difficult was that? I'm being a bit sarcastic. I'm not angry, just sad. So far, all anyone has seen in this thread is excuses, belligerence and bad manners. This thread reminds me of a bunch of high school students. You may not want this advice, but it's being made to try to help you, @Grand Ship Builder, @Mrcarrot & @NickRoss120: Take a few minutes to fix the OP. Remove the references to @SamBelanger as they are, soften the rhetoric. Discuss amongst yourselves who will be leading the development moving forward. Publicize it so everyone knows what's going on. Provide support for the mod It would be nice to, when you have it, post a roadmap of where the mod is going, and, as you work on it, updates so people can see the progress.
  8. Thanks. I have it fixed locally, will try to get a release out this evening
  9. I just looked at the first page, have a few comments: 1. There are nested Hidden Comments sections for no reason: in other words, in order to see the hidden comments, I have to click the first, and then there is another hidden comments inside which I also have to click. This is awkward and unnecessary 2. You don't need so many download locations; in fact, having so many can be counterproductive, since when you do an update, you have to update 7 different downloads. I'd suggest condensing it down to 2, just Github and Spacedock, and drop all the others 3. i see you have BTW recommended, please add TimeControl, which is another mod to control timewarping 4. Remove that first line, it's unnecessary, simply replace it with a line which says this is the continuation of the mod 5. No need to have everything in bold
  10. It's a constant in the file. But while do you think that 1 day is still too long? what about all the preparation time to get ready for a mission, and then all the debriefings? I mean, really? These are experimental flights, there has to be _some_ downtime. But, if you really want to change it, it's a single line to change here: https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/CrewRandR/blob/c0cd212b0e00c9b8acc15281eed2cb3f0948c0e1/Source/CrewQueueSettings.cs#L168 The way it's written is that the min/max number of vacation days is an int, so you can change it to 0, which would essentially make this mod useless
  11. Stop saying he left and abandoned the mod. He is out of the picture, every time you mention that, it grates on me, and most likely him, if he is reading it. Move on. You guys have now taken it over, forget about constantly mentioning the past.
  12. Meaning when you are creating a new game? And I know what's going on, but can you confirm which version you have? Posting a link to the log file would be sufficient, since I can get the version out of there.
  13. Oh, sorry. Bad assumption on my part. and thank you for updating. I like these fairing, was very happy to see them brought back
  14. Might I suggest that you stop bashing the previous author/owner? It serves no purpose other than antagonizing certain people and turning others off.
  15. Great. Can you update Spacedock so CKAN knows about it? thanks
  16. @Nertea I was looking for the license for the DeployableEngines module, I am thinking of using it in a mod I am going try to to release this weekend
  17. Log file please. What were you trying to repair? How did you try to do the repair? ie, with a pilot, scientist, or engineer? and what level was he/she? It should have had the name of a kerbal in front, so,f or example, using Jeb, it should have said: Jebediah Kerman isn't really qualified for this... It also sounds like you have the setting "Require Experience" enabled, if it makes it too hard, you can disable that in the settings.
  18. Not sure if it needed it, but I recompiled it for my local install and it works fine, I didn't bother to try the release version in it. I suspect it will work, though, I don't see any reference to the stock settings page which was the cause of most of the issues with mods and 1.3.1
  19. FYI, You should say that on CKAN, they should select: Simple Adjustable Fairings - KW Rocketry Pack otherwise they might get confused with KW
