  1. It's probably lost, but do you remember anything about the script? what is it for? That wasn't me, but thank you for thinking of me. I found the page in the Internet Archive: https://web.archive.org/web/20150920004856/http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com:80/threads/128414-1-0-x-FairingTextureSwitch-Switchable-Textures-on-Stock-Fairings!-July-11 Unfortunately, it references a dropbox link which is gone, so you may want to PM the author of the thread: @Thomas P.
  2. Worked well with nosecones, didn’t cost much in dV
  3. Im looking iin the log file.. since you dont have a backup, follow these steps: 1 Make a full copy of the game 2. Delete 1/2 of the mods and see if it crashes 3. If it does, delete 1/2 of the remaining mod and try again. When you have isolated which set of mods is causing the crash, repeat this with only those, keep doing it until you isolate the bad mod(s) And in the future, always do a backup before upgrading
  4. Well, i see you are running a copy of Infernal Robotics for 1.1.3, Kerbal Academy for 1.2.2, and others. Since you have a backup, the best thing to do would be to restore the back up, update a few of the mods and try it, update a few at a time until you get a crash, then it should be easy to identify the culprit
  5. no, it's a bug which I just fixed, I'll be pushing out a new release in a few minutes new release, 3.3.0.3: Added settings page Added configurable values Removed hard-coding of planet names All settings are now based on planet values Breathable atmosphere is only on the homeworld. Optimized some calculations (consolidated constants) Cleaned up the MM script to be calculated rather than hard-coded Tested to work with DeepFreeze
  6. It did work in 1.3.1 Very nice, but will it work with nosecones?
  7. Ok, so it all looks good, after DF freezes the kerbals, the LS mod doesn't see them any more. is there anything you'd recommend I either test for or add? Thread is here: @JPLRepo I was looking into the cfgs to figure out a problem and noticed that the CRT-2300Freezer has a maxTemp of 2900, while the other parts had that changed to 2000 from 2900 Was this intentional?
  8. @JPLRepo I'm updating an old life support mod, called IFI LS. I'm trying it with this, and am getting the message that I can't freeze the kerbals at this time. Does DF check for existence of a LS mod, and not work if it doesn't see a compatible one? Never mind, I found the problem. I had deleted the CRP by accident, so of course it wasn't working
  9. What @SpannerMonkey(smce) Said, although I’ll add that it sounds like KSP got upgraded to 1.3.1, and you still have mods which are not compatible. Its also possible that you are running KSP 1.3.0 with some mods which were upgraded to 1.3.1, although I think that is less likely
  10. What version of KSP was this designed for?
  11. So it seems your problem was MOdular Flight Integrator. Now, make a new install, only add in the Modular Flight Integrator. If it crashes again, try the following: 1. Download and install a new copy of it from one of the two download locations, you can find them in the first post here: 2. If it still crashes, then post a message WITH A LINK TO THE NEWEST LOG FILE in the thread I just listed above If it doesn't crash, try the full install again, using the new download instead of what you had
  12. Old saying: If you make something idiot proof, then only idiots will want to use it.
  13. Does it crash with Kopernicus and nothing else? I also saw a Modular Flight Integrator mod installed, be sure to remove that as well
  14. My sig has the following link, which IS specific: And than you for deleting the big post quickly. Delete the loading screen manager, it is not the correct version and isn’t needed to run the mod
  15. First, please, please please do NOT post the complete log in the forum, Please delete it, and post it on a file sharing site. second, either its the wrong log, or you didnt post the whole thing. Specifically, we need the output_log.txt file, in its entirety
  16. I still need to do the following before a release: The mod as written has "Kerbin" and "Laythe" hard-coded in place, with specific numbers which are based on the stock atmosphere. I need to change that to be more generic, to allow this to be used with various planet packs
  17. I just released a full update here for KSP 1.3.1: If/when @m4v comes back, I'll gladly return control of it to him if he wants.
  18. The mod hasn't been updated for more than a year, the author hasn't been around since August and has not responded to any PMs or postings. If/when @m4v comes back, I'll gladly return control of this mod to him. The new version for KSP 1.4.1 has new dependencies New Dependencies Click Through Blocker ToolbarController CKAN has been updated to install the dependencies, if needed. Mod originally written by @m4v, original thread is here: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/33124-12-rcs-build-aid-v091/& This is something I made for placing RCS thrusters in the right positions in the first try without having to go back and forth between the VAB and the hacked gravity launchpad. Features: Display thrust and torque forces caused by RCS or engines. Delta V readout for RCS. Dry center of mass marker. "Average" center of mass marker. Center of drag marker (CoD) for parachute placement. Ability to resize editor's overlay markers. Display total mass of resources. Supports: blizzy78's toolbar KSP Add-on Version Checker Once enabled you should see RCSBuildAid's window, select the translation mode or press any of the translation flight control keys ("hnijkl" keys) and then you should see something like this: Cyan arrows represents thruster forces, the green arrow represents the translation motion (or thrust). The red arrow represents the torque force in your vessel, if you have a red arrow then your ship will rotate when trying to translate in docking mode. So all you have to do is place your RCS thrusters in a way that eliminates this force. The red circular arrow is an indication of how fast the vessel will rotate. The red CoM marker is the dry center of mass (DCoM) which represents the center of mass of your vessel when it doesn't have any fuel (in the picture, without liquid fuel, oxidizer or mono-propellant, but is configurable). Image album with some examples http://imgur.com/a/UJdV7 Video explaining how to use RCSBA (version 0.5) by Geneborg This plugin only works with parts using stock modules such as ModuleRCS and ModuleEngines, mods that use custom modules will not be detected. Known issues: delta v readout will only show for monopropellant RCS, doesn't work for the new Vernor RCS. Parachute mode only works with stock aerodynamics and parachutes, will not work with mods such as FerramAerospaceResearch and RealChute. Download GitHub repository - Documentation - Changelog
  19. New release, 3.3.0.2: Adjusted drag values on all parts Adjusted maxtemp on all parts Added dependency on the Community Category Kit for the Life support category Removed the extra greenhouses Finalized greenhouses Feedback, please
