  1. Well, it was a bomber escort, but after taking enormously heavy losses in the Battle of Britain, it was primarily used as a night fighter. It couldn't escort bombers very well due to a lack of agility:
  2. I know the Bf-100 has one gunner with a single MG facing the tail, similar to the Stuka. As for bomb load, don't think of it as "how many bombs can it carry" as much as "what is the maximum weight of bombs it can carry". It could easily be modified to carry several smaller bombs or to carry one or two bigger bombs, as long as the weight of the bombs didn't exceed specifications. Besides, the Bf-110 isn't very famous for being a fighter bomber, everyone knows it as a heavy fighter/bomber escort. Well, sort of a bomber escort. The Blitz changed that...
  3. Will those doors act as solar panels? If they do, I can already see it being used as an early satellite.
  4. Yeah, but it's still a spacesuit. It still has to be pressurized, no matter what, and the fact that it's pressurized isn't something you can hide. It should look at least a little bloated, but t doesn't. I think they should have just had him use the suit he wore at the end for the whole movie. Lots of the problems I have with the movie are just pet peeves, they don't make it a bad movie. In fact, I sort of want to go see it again.
  5. Smaller Youtubers typically have better content because they do it to make their viewers happy, not to make huge piles of money.
  6. I don't like how the filming location doesn't look like Mars. I heard they filmed it it Jordan, but it seems like they could have found a more realistic (not to mention safer) place in Northern Africa. The he spacesuit is a little weird too. The suit he wears on Mars doesn't appear pressurized at all for no apparent reason. It looks a little like he's wearing a cross between clone trooper armor and climbing gear.
  7. Right now, the only aircraft I'm currently using that I'm not happy with is the He-112 V-5, and that's about to get replaced by the Bf-109B. I can't recruit any more crews without paying, so I really don't have space for the Italian planes unless one of them is better than the He-112 A-0.
  8. Oh yeesss.... It has come... I'm slowly getting the German aircraft, I expect to be able to get the Bf-109B tomorrow. After that, Ju-87 probably, or maybe Ju-88. Right now, the He-111 is a pretty good bomber, I don't see much need to upgrade to the Ju-88. I guess I'm going to bypass the Italian aircraft entirely, since it looks like I won't need them to get the Fw-190.
  9. Hmm, Beale wants another lander for Tantares besides LK? What about Altair? If you make a new lander, I think it should have a high crew capacity (4-ish) while still being somewhat small. The stock lander cans and the crewed parts provided in Tantares currently do not allow easy construction of a 4+ Kerbal lander that isn't overly massive. I know it may be a little unrealistic to try to squeeze four or five Kerbals into a tin can like Altair, but it may be possible to do the old style Altair:
  10. Fortunately for us, there's much more higher quality YouTube entertainment out there. Hail Scott Manley!!
  11. I think Lego released a Saturn V back in the 90s, but it wasn't as good as this one. EDIT: Wait, they released a U-boat?!? Where? I must have it!
  12. Hitler was a vegetarian.
  13. This post was put up a while ago, but does anyone know where I can get one of those cardboard jets? I want to do this for Halloween, but I know nothing about making cardboard objects.
  14. Oh no, are you going to ruin the smooth and sleek texture of the Soyuz DM with those bright yellow/black stripes?!? They just stand way out from the others and make the DM look ugly. What if you changed it to white stripes, and left gaps between them instead of being alternate colors? I think that may still point out the hatch, but won't stand out too much that it looks ugly.
  15. Does anyone know if it is possible for Germany and Japan to be in a match together with Realistic difficulty? I got my friend into War Thunder and he got sold on the Japanese planes, but I play with German planes. We don't really want to switch nations and research until we have equal planes, but my friend prefers Realistic over Arcade.
  16. No problem, if you want a light bomber that can also make strafing runs on enemy ground units, the A-20 is probably your best bet. The Havoc can fly around as if it were a fighter, has lots o' guns in its nose, as well as two rear gunners. It's bomb load is pretty good too, and if you research the modifications, you can equip it with rockets. Of course, if you're going for the first B-25, you probably know all this stuff already.
  17. Wait... An intelligent bridge? Can you confirm that we will not have any rebellions, revolutions, or apocalypses caused by bridges becoming too smart for their own good? I don't want to wake up late one night to learn that the Brooklyn Bridge has personally come down from New York to Alabama to tear me a new one.
  18. Hey! What are you talking about? Spongebob was the greatest when I was a little kid. It's still ok now, except for, you know, how it's supposed to make you stupid, and the creators are just milking it for cash instead of making good content... Oh how the great have fallen... Even Thomas the Tank Engine isn't what it used to be. They don't use any models anymore, it's all CGI, and I think Ringo Starr doesn't narrate it anymore. What if you put rockets on Thomas and flew him to space? Can it land on the Mun?
  19. Nonsense! The SM was made shorter recently to account for the length of the decoupler, previously it was too long. Its a nice texture though. I like the horizontal lines, they sort of look like the radiators on the real Soyuz.
  20. Aw yes, this show was the best when I was a wee lad. Ringo Starr's narration + trains + no CGI = win Dammit, you made me remember this video: http://youtu.be/-jLtYrlVY6Q
  21. Of course, it isn't that hard to modify a rocket stage to feature SRBs. Except for fuel lines, the side is pretty empty, so there should be plenty of places to attach SRBs in a symmetrical arrangement, especially if there are only two or three
