  1. Action group remote. Useable through the weapons manager. It worked on a raptor while flying with a radar missile from Red vs blue.....
  2. oh...... Feel free to call in an airstrike on my house Now in my defence I did try this with other known GPS guided missiles like the Tomahawk from PEW and another from Malfunc weapons. I will keep trying but I still think GPS weapons wont fire with the AG remote.
  3. I thought the same thing. I also tried firing at less than 1KM and it didn't work. I used the PAC-3 with a target designated by a drone. Selected the GPS target (while switched to the ship) snitched back to the drone and tried the remote AG to fire the ships PAC-3 and no dice.
  4. Hey is anyone else having vessel spawning issues spawning multiple vessels? Or trying to use Vessel Mover? If I spawn a ship, place it in the water with vessel mover, then go back to the SPH to grab another boat. The first one will disappear. Or If I use vessel mover to spawn a second boat while still in the flight scene. That second boat will break the universe Basically the game hangs for a few seconds then every planet will disappear, and you are looking at space. Would colliders have anything to do with this? I also noticed you cannot clip the VLS tubes into certain parts, but others really don't fight you at all. If you have two boat parts stacked on top of each other and the VLS tube can clip through both of them. You will most certainly blow yourself up when you hit fire. Still figuring those things out. I have yet to be able to have one completely flush with a surface and still work.... But I am having a blast building ships! I never knew what I was missing!
  5. Welcome to the forum! To install a mod. Dpownload the .zip / .rar file for that mod. Open with Win rar 7Zip or the like. Extract the contents of the mod from the zip folder and place them in the "GameData" folder in your KSP game folder (where you installed the game) If you ever download a mod and see the folder "GameData" just open it and place whatever is inside it into your GameData Folder

  7. @BahamutoD I have a "bug" or this may be more of a feature request. Built a destroyer and a drone. Drone flys over target, marks target and I can use the data receiver to share that target between the two. But If I use the remote action group control with an action group assigned to fire a GPS guided missile from the destroyer (AG 0 on weapon manager, fires missile / guns). It won't fire remotely. I need to switch back to the destroyer to fire a GPS missile. - Is there a way to fire GPS missiles remotely? And can we designate a target then fire ship munitions from a drone? It currently works with some vessel switching but it would be outstanding to do everything from the drone.

  9. When you say "all your other mods" How many are you running? You may just be running out of ram. The limit of 3.5 GB on a 32bit game is very easy to hit.
  10. Well for now I converted the missiles to gps guidance this seems to work perfect for my purposes. I can designate targets with a predator and then launch an attack from sea. I really do love the VLS pods Now one last question. I can't offset the tubes flat against a surface and fire. If I set them flush they either wont fire or make little pieces out of my destroyer. I'm using them with the Large Boat Parts Mod. Which everyone swears works just fine with the VLS tubes. I personally think there must be a Tweakscale bug with LBP. People's results seem to be varried For those interested I just changes these two lines on the cfg's //homingType = aam homingType = Cruise //targetingType = radar targetingType = gps
  11. Well that fixes my guidance issue thanks man. But.... The Tomahawk will blow up if clipped into a ship with the a VLS tubes. Is there a way to modify existing missiles to work in a VLS tube? Or is this accomplished in Unity?

  14. Oh sorry, I meant to say... The radar will lock the target just fine. I also tried with legacy targeting enabled. But I am unable to shoot a land based target with a VLS launched missile. I believe it is more to do with how the VLS is a turret and it is not actually aimed at the intended target, unless that target is flying directly across the VLS's point of aim (straight up) I wonder if switching the guidance to GPS would have any effect on this? I wouldn't think so, but I'm not an expert on BD's missile guidance, I tend to stumble my way through more often than not.

  16. Sounds like you're looking for KAX More dig on the air / more power. The helicopter rotor works pretty much the same way.
  17. I noticed this just recently with the Large Boat Parts mod. I hadn't tried spawning multiple water crafts like that prior. Did you manage this with a craft using all stock parts as well? I assume we both were using mods along with Vessel mover while trying to spawn multiple boats.
  18. Now is that, from a VLS clipped into a ship? I tried that and it blew up. But the same situation works with the missiles in this pack, they just won't track a target unless it's right above the VLS tube (as far as I have seen anyway)
  19. I'm all for it, but a limitation might be. People will start asking for a gif or video so they can see it before they download it. Which is a ton of work and why probably no one has suggested it yet. But if everybody was just interested in a short description like "golf swing" or "air guitar" then I think this could work. The other issue I noticed is if I make an animation in one computer then try and move it, it can get nerfed.
  20. I love the VLS parts! But I am experiencing an issue where unless my target is directly overhead. the missiles will not lock on. Once my target passes directly above the ship it will lock on and pull some seriously amazing maneuvers to try and catch the plane. So I know the guidance works perfectly, but the missiles field of view just isn't enough to see the target. Is this a known issue?

  22. Are you going to make the revers swept bow for the Zumwalt!?!?! Sweet!!! I just today put the bug in Spanner's ear to make the main guns in his Boomsticks mod. Great minds think alike. I for one would also love to see this implemented. Garage bay doors, no other mod has them. Also the rear / side doors on the main hull with an open interior would be outstanding! Would just be an alternate model for a couple of the main hull sections with different collision meshes and animations I would presume. But like @XOC2008 said, I love this mod just as it is as well. Still leaps and bounds beyond piecing them together with P-wings like my Comanche. That took me almost two weeks to get it right.
