I returned to a earlyer careersave in mid-game, so i buildt a stockpart KERMES... Now me wonders how to get this thing to orbit... Separating this with dockingports will make it wobble more than acceptable!?

Aside the dramatic story, Epic Kerbal Engineering on the M7, an idol of stockgame construction for purpose, 10/10! @I am still eagerly thinking all day about a contribute to your work here, its not easy to make a adequat decision which is "reasonable" in any "kerbal" sense... Got some more time this WE, have to re-read your story first... maybe this helps:)

I really did not expect any surprise here for me, but winning your little "Missionbingo" is way more than a great honour for me! It was a blunt, wild, spontanous guess in the dark... I am quiet busy at the moment at work (Weather turning colder) so i guess i will give my (very) small contribute idea until this Saturday 1800pm CET, somehow 1200 noon in Eastcoast U.S., i hope it is sufficient, just don`t have the time to figure out something, too surprised!

Can't Hire Kerbals

Bumping this because i have the similar issue on a slightly modded careersave. KSC is full upgraded... Are kerbaled flights and total amount of crew limited in careerplay??? Had a Kerbal on Bop surface tracked as "space object", and a Kerbal from a rescuecontract deviated from the wreck and the rescuevessel for some 200km in orbit around Laythe suddenly... Now Kerbals to hire cost is 0, cannot hire any, and assigned shows 10, max shows 12... I have around 34 active Kerbals around the system... Has any one an idea? -

I like the "Puff" monoprop minithingy. Its somehow real small and has a poor plume in stock but the noise is great. Reminds me to a noise certain coffeemachines use to do... well... Cappuchino... yes. Sorry but i wonder why nobody mentioned it until now. -

IRRC you must unlock them in the techtree??? Just a wild guess... Download from Kerbalstuff looks sometimes safer than from other portals... CKAN has some issues too... -

Wrangling asteroids needs lots of Gyroscopes, RCS and lots of TWR... The NPUs size 1000 and 2500 apply enourmous g-forces, up to 10(+...?) g per detonation, and without KJR it simply rips the vessel apart. I tugged lots with stockparts only earlyer, so i suggest for D and E sized asteroids a tweakscaled Klaw (2.5m), or your vessel won`t be able to maneuver the chunk in a usefull way, with a stock Klaw it wobbles endlessly... -

You can make sience in the KSC area, build a rover, drive around and make some EVA reports from different locations... When you have unlocked some plane parts look for the biomes nearby, there is a lot of sience hidden... -
Landed safely a bunch of noobs with a shuttle. Now i got the hang on the reentrys, after 2000+ hours of KSP...

I managed today to catch a D-size asteroid in my careergame, rendezvous in solar orbit, wrangled from a far distance to save some nukes, and orbited around Mün due to a contract (i really don`t make nothing anymore without a matching contract ...) It was quiet a work still... Its the same vessel as before (NPUs 500), i just attached a RCS tug with a Tweakscaled Klaw (2.5m). No problems encountered so far. To tug around a E-size chunk i assume that a much competitive vessel must be buildt, i did not even try... Mission Success! -

I use to land Mobile Miners like this: (Special here with Chutes for Laythe landing. Normaly 4 Thuds are sufficient to land on minor bodys.) -

Another funny Krash with a Shuttle, after failing reentry properly i landed in front of the "Whoopstooshortmountains", somehow the frontgear refused to steer ahead... No Kerbals harmed. -
Must have this so much! All black for the 7.5ms parts is so perfect!
