  1. How to say Mün in 4 easy steps. 1. Say "Mean" 2. Make an "oooo" sound 3. Stop making the ooo sound, but don't move your mouth 4. Say "Mean" again, with your mouth in that position Congratulations, you have pronounced Mün correctly.
  2. Nope, 1 green bar and proud. The user below me is running windows.
  3. Hmm. I like the atmosphere color, but I feel like it could be much denser and less black when you look up. Mars has an actual sky, and its atmospheric pressure is 0.6% of earths. Duna's pressure is 20% of Kerbin . Here's a picture of Martian clouds as well. They ought to be very white and very thin on Duna. (I know Rbray is the EVE dev. I just wanted to put my opinion out there) The black is a little weird looking. Also, do we have nice blue/grey sunsets? Thanks for all of your work on this, blackrack. It's beautiful. Can't wait for Jool and Laythe.
  4. Aver9geJoe, you raise a good point. Maybe a button that would be similar to "taunting" in Team Fortress. Useless, but fun. I tend to think of Kerbals as capable engineers, but childish and immature (fart jokes!). So I can totally see them joking around while on a multi-billion dollar, history making mission. Also, perhaps they whip out a pencil and pad and scribble some notes for an EVA report?
  5. Sooo... I hate to be that guy but... can I get this working for mac?
  6. What's up with your atmosphere color/height? it looks all wonky and way too blue. Also blackrack, this is amazing. Sad though because I run on a mac. (OpenGL)
  7. Here's something to think about- Consider adding shadows in your textures. Here's the texture for the stock ISRU, notice the shading where I circled. (Mods, if this violates any rules/licenses feel free to take it down) Here's a quick and dirty photoshop of your render. Just something to consider.
  8. Okay. So number one is this. I played this game from age 6 to 12-13. I absolutely love RCT2. This is the game I would sneak downstairs at night and play until sunrise. RCT3 is up there, but it only gets an honorable mention on this list. Next is this: This was a great game. It's not as old, but man, it was great. Playing two player was pretty funny as this was before the "dynamic screen split" was implemented, so you would just drag around the other player when they were at the edge of the screen. Lots of fun. Lots of bugs. And finally, The original Zoo Tycoon. A classic, although a little before my time. My older sister was a master at this game.
  9. Yeah, you really should just learn the new aero. It's worth it, trust me. Start by building almost-replicas of real rockets (kerbal joint reenforcement helps with this) and go from there. If it looks like a real rocket, it'll fly. You're just going to have to accept that .90 designs are't going to work.
  10. KAS and KIS Procedural Fairings Vens Stock Revamp KerbalJointReinforcement Kscale2 if you like a bit of a challenge Hotrockets Atomic Age
  11. Why would you do anything other that answer a? It's not too hard, just mess around with the node definitions in the cfg. It will go a lot faster if you go int gamedata>squad>parts and delete everything except the mk 1 command module and maybe a fuel tank.
  12. Only if the owner sets it to. For example, (shameless advetising ) if you click the kerbalstuff link on my mod a little CKAN icon shows up right by the big button.
  13. Guys, please go read the positive forum movement and react accordingly before this (very interesting) thread is locked.
  14. Here's my mining operation. I just landed this today, near the probe that marked the landing spot. Fuel tank comes tomorrow.
  15. You just had to, didn't you. Seriously though, that's a given with challenges. But I did add it in the rules just for you.
  16. AlbertOneZ12 I really like the shot at 3:22.
  17. Hello! So we all know the basic ships that come loaded with every save. The Kerbal X, Two stage lander, Aeris 3a, etc. But when you take a closer look, you realize that... these crafts are fairly useless. The Kerbal X has a pod with landing legs, but can't make it back from the mun. The Stearwing d-45 can only make orbit with excellent piloting, but it's obviously designed to be an ssto. The Kerbal 2.... What even is the Kerbal 2? The super heavy lander is not very well built, and wastes a lot of delta v. And the list goes on. CHALLENGE Your job is to build a new stock vehicle lineup to fill the basic niches (Small rocket, lander, larger rocket, various aircraft, ssto, etc.) that will teach new players good strategies and practices for building ships. RULES - No excessive clipping. You can decide if your craft(s) violate this rule. - Stock parts only. Informational plugins are fine. In fact, Kerbal Engineer is recommended to see delta v of your craft. - No debug menu *cough* Kaboom! *cough* LEADERBOARDS SPH JLtheGrunger, Pelican (Aeris 3a Light Jet) VAB GoSlash27, Rockomax Katapult (2.5m medium launcher) Bev7787, Navigator Probe Launch Kit (1.25m launcher w/ Probe) Red Iron Crown, Day Tripper (Mun and Minmus lander w/ launcher) JLtheGrunger, Proton K (3.75m Heavy Launcher) Good luck, and happy building! 18. Are you marking seams on the top and bottom of the cylinder, and then one on the side? Think of how you would build a cylinder out of paper. This issue held me back for a while. Looks good!
  19. Here's an old album of pictures found on NovaSilisko's devblog
