  1. So this place is basiclly for us to speculate on how the current kerbin came to be. I was inspired to make this after seeing this in this thread Here it appears that there used to be massive wetlands or an extremely long, incredibly windy river here. Are there any other parts of kerbin that you see and wonder about. Perhaps we could create a map of kerbins possible techtonic plates. Also, what direction does the big river flow?
  2. Is a 'Nosewheel Ride' an airmans version of being keel-hauled (Tied to the keel of a boat right a the water line while is moves)
  3. Are those dry river beds I see...
  4. I live in china, near shenzen, sooooooo....... Its Totally not me producing knockoffs of your product.
  5. wait, didn't rotary engines come before radials... How would a rotary engine complicate control? Well, radials were sort of their contemporaries, but nobody uses rotaries anymore, while my dads volounteer fire brigade has a PBY
  6. you see, you hold them together by the deployed grid fins, tovarish. Now pass the vodka. *Falls off chair*
  7. Could you try to do a Rotary Engine? Basically the cylinders rotate around a fixed crankshaft. I know these would suck in KSP, need fuel mounted on the engine, need to switch craft to change throttle, have massive amounts of torque. But they did most of these IRL too.
  8. I think the stability of the Koloa can be improved by moving the intake back. That would move the center of drag back, but to compensate for the weight shift you might want to scoot the wings a few cm forward.
  9. Wait, so squad removed staging groups? if so, NOOOOOOOO
  10. Azimech, have you played from the deapths? It is quite fun and has really damn complicated engines.
  11. My kod! I liked something the realism space hippie said! i was just going to make this point. They were evreywhere on interwar biplane tails to
  12. The only acceptable interstellar drive by realism standards is project Orion.
  13. My theory is that they are just a bunch of idiots who she doesnt want to be associated with. Thats why ses by herself
  14. First we take manhattan by leonard cohen. On one of my saves. The Kold war one. Really.
  15. All craft must look decent and realistic. No clipping fuel into other fuel tanks. Same goes for engine bells. they must not touch anything. Clipping wings is ok if the plane has some stupid #lolfake KSP physics going on. No control surfaces though. Missions to a body must follow this: Probe flyby, Probe orbiter, Polor Probe orbiter, Probe imactor, manned flyby, probe lander, manned orbiter and return, manned landing, long-term stay, colony. Sometimes there is a probe return in there. Ships should cary as much science equipment and possible. Manned launches must have an LES. Manned launches need test flights and probe cores. Saves must have sensible progression. Always use designated parking orbits. 100km for regular missions and my 3000 part space station. It keeps on zipping by and crashing my computer. 120km for construction. 200km for sats. except the spy sats. (weather observation, my a**)
  16. simulation inside the simulation inside the simulation(matrix ftw)
  17. Do not make this the default career. Please.
  18. I like the idea, especially that of wind blowing across the surface. Just visual, and maybe increased barometer science when blowing, the martian wind thing is close to impossible.
  19. I like this Idea. Im guessing that I would find it easier to addict introduce people to KSP here in Hong Kong
  20. For me it was the Part Clipping y/n cheaty thing, but that was a bit protracted. Other than that it was the ring of +10kn thing with kerbal classes. There was the SAVE THE ROUND-8 thing. I got that off of the top of my head, probably was more.
  21. I made a plane that chops off half of the entire plane when the gear deploy (Yay for panel vans!). it still flys the same. It has a massive lift and STOL capacity and a giant, quick unload back, so I outfitted with metal plating on the bottom, and a .50cal turret, and used it as a combat transport.
  22. It's going to be really sad when they burn up because they are in a unshielded pod. You should tell here to send a rescue mission.
  23. About part bloat and confusing new players: When I began playing (.23.5) I looked at the part list, grabbed a capsule, kept on sticking tanks underneath until I found one that fit. I then saw that the shiny white tanks were all the size I wanted. Then I found that the dark grey and yellow styling engines were also the size I wanted. This was how I began. I was 12 at the time. I'm not sure KSP part bloat is as big of a problem for people.
