  1. I just watched all of the videos, and I want to say congratulations for everyone involved! Very impressive work! Is there any information that anyone would have liked to have closer at hand, about the launch vehicle, sat, etc?
  2. You know you're a nerd when you've tested all of the batteries and battery chargers around the house with a battery discharger which measures MaHs. I have data on how well each charger works, and the capacity of every battery. SCIENCE!
  3. 10/10 Flight director (guh, my period key seems to be broken!)
  4. Hmm, depending on the payload weight, my forty ton lifter, since it has one restart in orbit, might be able to do that
  5. Woooo!!!!! It worked! Great work! What happened? Tell me all about ti! Have we decided on our next payload?
  6. Alright folks, I'm sorry that I won't be able to watch the launch live. I've got to go now.
  7. Well, I found this: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/39663-open-source-construction-techniques-for-craft-aesthetics/&page=22#comment-1315964 ETA: The post below that, actually.
  8. As I understand it, SQUAD wants to provide a reliable host for mods. Curseforge is a fine host for mods. You can debate whether KS, Github, of Curseforge is better until the cows come home, but Curseforge has large servers, no ads, and free hosting and downloading.

  10. Witness the power of my fully fueled and operational mothership! That's 458 tons and 242 parts of ship.
  11. I just go alt-tab then close KSP by RMB'ing it's icon and clicking "Close." Please don't kill me.
  12. This is an interesting question. Most completely new designs use the much larger gimbal ranges that IRL rocket engines have, plus the fact that KSP aero calculations aren't quite realistic. Some rockets also use RCS during launch, especially for roll control. However, the soyuz rocket does use small fins: Because the only gimbal authority comes from the verniers. Nonetheless, whatever building method works best for you is right one.
  13. @NathanKell, If you want, you can PM me with google contact info so I can let you edit the scheduling resources. Of course, I can add stuff myself too.
