Yes and yes, especially with that kind of return on investment. Yes, and even better with time, much like KSP 1. Irrelevant. I spend my money they way I want, and you do the same. Don't try to guilt trip me because you may be frugal, and perhaps donate more than I do. That's none of my business.
-
That's relative. I would easily pay triple that if they asked. I paid $40 for KSP 1 and have easily dumped 4,000+ hours into it. You do the math and tell me I didn't get my money's worth... I'd say $60 is a steal. I understand that not everybody has $60 laying around to buy KSP 2, but that doesn't make it "not right", or not worth the money. If you want to pay less, just wait for a sale. Man, If only I could get that same return on investment for virtually anything else I have purchased in my life!

[KSP 1.6.1] Stock Visual Terrain [v2.2.0] [20 March 2019]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Pretty sure planet packs or any mod and that uses kopernicus won't work with the tutorials or training missions. Also, try to replicate the issue with only SVT and it's dependencies. And to be completely honest, SVT will likely be halted once 1.8 is released as the new shaders are nicer than anything SVT can provide.- 1,019 replies

JNSQ will not be compatible with other packs and that is intentional

It's useful. Thank for releasing that feature

[KSP 1.6.1] Stock Visual Terrain [v2.2.0] [20 March 2019]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
There is a cfg in SVT named EnableColliders.cfg. copy that cfg to your gamedata folder and delete SVT. You will still need Kopernicus, and unfortunately , that is what is causing your performance issues more than likely right now. There is workaround for the performance issues posted somewhere in the kopernicus thread- 1,019 replies

[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
Galileo replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
You cannot open kittopia with scatterer installed. The incorrect lighting is due to not saving your normal maps correctly. And lastly, you should never edit planets with that many mods installed. Once you have finished the planets with a minimal install, then add the mods in. You are only asking for issues otherwise and will probably get ZERO support from devs or anyone else because nobody wants to thumb through your mods to figure out a problem. -
JNSQ has SVT built into it

@Aelipse The issue is with the current version of Kopernicus. If you have missed the last 50 pages or so of the Kopernicus thread, there is an issue that is killing performance. There is a temporary cfg fix posted on the thread and a fix for it is coming in the next Kopernicus release. It has nothing to do with terrain textures, onDemand loading, or anything else.

[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
Galileo replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@edwin.robert looks like you may have mods installed wrong, and you are using mods that are way outdated. I’ll need logs from you and a screen shot of your GameData folder. -
That’s my Everest. I had a feeling that’s what you were talking about

[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
Galileo replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Kopernicus does not run on 1.7.2. You will need KSP version 1.7.1 or 1.7.3. -

@Jognt @Starwaster @SkyRex94 Thank you for being persistent and figuring this out and not taking my word as gospel. -
@kerbnub we use a perfectly round mesh in scaled space for most bodies. That’s why it looks flat. Works as intended. It gives the bodies the look of being bigger than the actually are. I’m not of a fan of the cartoonish, deformed look of stock sized bodies. While the transition can look a bit odd at times, I think it’s alright.

It works. I can’t help unless you provide logs and a screenshot of your GameData folder. make sure you have the latest EVE and SVE Textures -
