You could always do the Ulyanovsk as a future carrier to add as well. I'd be down with the proposed soviet supercarrier. (I suppose in the meantime I'll just make due with making the Nimitz look less American. ) -

That is a lovely sight to behold. I love all the little extras like the VLS sections on the sides of the stern, the hollow deck hangar, the sheer magnitude of the below deck hangar. So much space.

I believe that's going to be in his 1.2 update, but that's waiting till 1.2 is out of testing phase.

Need more big ships. Need LHD. *zombie shuffles* Carrier is great, now if only I wasn't such crap at flying... and landing. So bad at landing. Are there/will there ever be some sort of arresting system for the carrier? What about catapults? -

I have a 4 screw carrier using this and haven't seen this behavior. Edit: Just realized I wasn't using the rudders. Checked to see if I could replicate this and with 4 screws and 4 rudders at full power, as soon as I tried to steer the ship jumped violently, blew up everything attached to the hull, and launched itself 16000 meters into the air, and landed 80 some KM away. (1.13 btw) -

The fleet now, with Eskandare's CVN Nimitz from the CVX mod, and TMasterson's Legend Class cutter from the SAR mod. Left to right, LCS Independence Class, LCS Freedom Class, LHA America Class, DDG Zumwalt Class, CVN Nimitz Class, LCC Blue Ridge Class, LPD San Antonio Class, LSD Whidbey Island Class, PC Cyclone Class, and taking up the rear is the USCGC Legend Class. My computer hates me this morning.

So I found an issue with hullbreach. Scaled up boat parts don't have the seawater scale up enough to affect the increase in buoyancy in tweaked parts, so all it does is make the ship sit a bit lower in the water. Not sure if this is particular to me or not. Theres also an issue with welded parts but I think if I reweld them with hullbreach installed it should fix some of that. I welded them without hullbreach present. -
You could always add a Hamilton class bridge too. The ship itself mostly looks like a tweakscaled famous class ship with a different bridge.

Nope, no angles on the double hangar, just flat sides. I'll make sure to update when it's out!

The original bridge is fine for a famous class ship, and certainly looks the part. It just looks very out of place on anything bigger, no way could I use it to build a legend class/national security cutter and have it look right. Now you just need to model a Jayhawk with folding blades for the hangars! Hahaha (btw, love the folding nets. Small details like that are just awesome.) I think the only thing the new parts might need is re: the hangar, having angled sides that match the new angled pieces, but I understand wanting to keep it similar to the other one.
