The mod is not broken. You should verify that everything is in the correct place. GameData/Eskandare_Heavy_Industries/Carrier_Vessel_Expansion/ Make sure you have a current version of Firespitter for the version of KSP that you are running. The carrier hull is in structural along with the tower. The bridge is in pods. Engines are in engines. Rudders are in Aero. -

Since I built the F-22N, I thought it was only fair I build the F-14D as well: -
Not to take away from blackheart's mod here but there are already a few f-18-type cockpits out there. AoA Tech works in 1.2.1 and the cockpit has its own radar and gun if you use BDA.

So I haven't seen this mentioned or maybe I missed it entirely.. the prerelease version, 6.2.0, I have found does not get along with version 2.0.8 of B9 Pwings. (I know there's a 2.1.0 now but after I installed it it treated everything as mirrored badly and I haven't had problems with 2.0.8.) When I install 6.2.0 with PWings 2.0.8, the wing editing functionality disappears. I can't hover and press J, it's not recognized. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, if they fixed it, and how. If it's a "I'm stupid and should use the current version" issue, then I'll just continue to be stupid.- 4,460 replies

Will there be options in the future to offset the tips on the all moving control surface and the regular wing itself, or is that something not possible due to some limitations of the game? -

F-22N Sea Raptor with functional Swing Wings. BDArmory, RvB, AoA Tech primarily. The cockpit is Baha's B9 Lightning cockpit. Wings are PWings with Infernal Robotics for the sweep mechanism. -

SM Armory (formerly Boomsticks) has a mk46 Bushmaster turret with a mesh switching base for tall, medium, or short setups, but it's a 30mm. I'd love it if someone made the mk38 mod 2 version of the m242 so I will second this request. PEW isn't dead. @Spannermonkey is maintaining it, he just has a ton of mods he is working on. Last time I checked, everything in the latest release of PEW works in 1.2.1, including the Tomahawk.

The central trimaran hull is tweakscaled, yeah. 385% from normal. There's a pair of tweaked ballast tanks as well. It's all in the water. Albeit not by much, but it's all in.

Darn it, @SpannerMonkey(smce)... Look what you have gone and made me do. The carrier parts are full size. The ship is currently 636m long.

I've had SOME success using Burn Together with the ships, though occasionally I'll have one follower that will match speed, but extra followers drop to almost nothing on the throttle and lag behind.

Pretty sure it has to do with the heat imparted to the part, so the torpedoes may not generate enough against the hull section compared to the cannon shells.

Primarily procedural parts and b9 Pwings. The engines are from Blue Hawk Industries. AoA tech cockpit, BDA and RvB. Oh and Stryker's Aerospace & Armory. -

Oh it was running fine till I tried reloading the scene.. but ten 70+ part craft will tend to slow things down. I get impatient when it takes a while to load. -

Some Phantom and Super Hornet Jolly Roger goodness on the USS Nimitz. (Still details to add for the carrier but I wanted to see how many planes I could fit before my computer got mad. I could probably keep going but I wanted to share and keep the momentum up for this mod. )
