  1. More specific instructions http://www.howtogeek.com/219947/how-to-record-pc-gameplay-with-windows-10’s-game-dvr-and-game-bar/ Recorded my 1920x1200 screen @ 1728x1080 in mp4 format Example: Knocking our tourists PS: About 20 minutes before video will be available for watching. PPS: I should probably try nVidias Shadowplay at some point.
  2. Top of the vertical launch: Pass out: And why you need relay satellites even on Kerbin: I've got it set so that it doesn't drop down to partial control with no link - it loses all control.
  3. I use my Insert key to take screen-shots through the Steam client. Since 1,2 released I haven't been able to do this when I'm in Orbital Map View as it resets me back to standard map view and misses the screen-shot. After looking through all the key settings there is no mention of the Insert key being assigned to any use at all. I tried to assign the key and then clear it to see if that would fix the issue but it didn't. This indicates that the Insert key has been hard coded to this one action.
  4. I hadn't even seen that option. Just wasn't looking for it. But I was getting irritated from having to pull up the navball every time.
  5. Looks like one of my old Minmus And Mun jobbies: Flight would have been to Minmus, land, fall back onto Mun, land and then back to Kerbin. Looks like an old one so that would probably explain all the mono-propellent (didn't feel like getting out and walking). Don't think I would have had a poodle on that. Second stage would have been a Skipper IIRC. Last use would have been to drop it into sub-orbital on Minmus and kill almost all m/s and then let it drop. Use the four LV-9 for the rest of the trip.
  6. I noticed the lean and was wondering if it was done on purpose considering the fixed stabilizers.
  7. But they do have an irritating habit of putting 'new build' into the contract so that a simple renaming doesn't work.
  8. After reading this thread I built this: It's about 5000 funds cheaper than what it would cost with full LOH tanks and engines. Drops from ~17k to ~12k.
  9. May possibly be my messiest station ever: The problems of lining up manually - no MJ and Not thinking about it when the contract calls to simply double what's up there and so simply launching another of the first station launched Network's taking shape though It's not that I've been purposefully building one but that I keep getting contracts for satellites and decided putting a full relay antenna on sounds like a Good Idea.
  10. Play hard mode where refusing contracts really hurts your rep. Of course, you don't have to accept them
  11. True but it's more likely to become universal than Reddit. Another option would be for Squad to set up their own Achievements Server which both sends out the challenges to players, records them being achieved and provides a place for them to be viewed. I suspect that it would be more cost effective to use Steam though.
  12. Simple Steam Achievements would work I suspect. Reddit doesn't have such a record of achievement nor is everyone on Reddit or the forums to get the chance to partake of those challenges.
  13. The screenshot I took for my intro to these forums:
  14. Why is it a big X? Why does it have so many small fuel tanks? Why does each of those fuel tanks have it's own battery? Do you have a base on Minmus that refines fuel?
  15. Gravity Assist Just to help people clarify what a gravity assist is and how it works.
  16. Actually, you could be right. I've added some non-stock parts but didn't really have a look at what was there before hand or even what was added. If it's not then it should be as it really is something that's needed for making space stations. EDIT: It's part of Near Future Construction. Is that dirty yellow one a stock part?
  17. Once you get up the tech tree a bit further you get hold of some interesting gantries and stuff that would allow you to do that without using so many parts. I.e
  18. Finding out, while on the way to Mun, that I've left off one decoupler meaning that I can't get rid of the large fuel tank which means that I don't have enough gas to land or get back to Kerbin and even if I did manage to land would probably fall over and blow up anyway. Moment of Silence for Jebidiah, who bravely tried to land, and the four tourists who were with him. Several minutes of cursing and swearing as I start a new career mode game as the penalties for killing four tourists left the Funds in the seriously negative territory.
  19. ATM, the lack of a concise, clear, up to date (i.e, not 0.22), tutorial on modding the d..m thing.
  20. I'm up to 544 hours played. I've only ever had the Steam version so that's it. The only game I've played longer is Civ V and that's probably got more to do with me owning it a few years longer.
