Does this happen consistently? I would love to see a screenshot if you have one.

Reported Version: v0.1.3.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: Intel i9 9900K | GPU: Nvidia 3070ti | RAM: 32GB Appears to have happened since 0.1.0.0 Frequency: Not every time but regularly. Steps to Replicate: Simple Craft Test for Over the Top Distortion: More Complicated Craft to Show Side Distortion: Additional Information: Not just visual. It will affect crafts handling as well. Is this a floating origin problem?

Nothing major but interesting nonetheless. -
Parts & Vessels Wings Attached in Symmetry Causes Uneven Lift Causing Unwanted Roll
Anth replied to Anth's question in Parts & Vessels
I have used trim to counter the issue before. It's never perfect though. -
Most likely you accidently pressed Delete on your keyboard that changed the mode to docking.

Reported Version: v0.1.3.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: Intel i9 9900K | GPU: Nvidia 3070ti | RAM: 32GB What Happened: I was supplied with a glider by @Abelinoss which was having issues with unusual forces. I removed symmetry from all parts and the craft started responding much closer to what would be expected. Picture of Glider: No Parts in Symmetry (Performing Better): All Parts in Symmetry (Performing Badly): Additional Information: I didn't test all wing types for this, but I did test a control surface and that appeared to have the same problem. Other parts may or may not contributed to the problem. I removed all symmetry just in case. I recommend looking for lift/drag for non wing parts as well. Launch directly from the VAB is recommended. Reverting to launch causes other issues.

Flight Undocking on pause causes vehicle to disintegrate
Anth replied to BechMeister's topic in v0.1.3
This bug report is about undocking vehicles while paused. The other one is about decoupling. They look the same. The steps to replication are different. This is the reason why I haven't merged all the bug reports relating to disassembled crafts.- 26 replies

Do you have a craft file? What happened in the video didn't happen to me in the limited testing that I did.
-
Anyway you can supply the craft file from the video? It might help locate the problem.

Reported Version: v0.1.3.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: Intel i9 9900K | GPU: Nvidia 3070ti | RAM: 32GB 0.1.1.0 Using aeroGUI: 0.1.3.1: Conclusion: Probably been in the game since initial release. Credit: I was trying to figure out what was going on here when after I showed @The Space Peacock a video of it, he said something about it probably being related to body lift (not drag as I first thought) Once I pitched up it was obvious that he was right. I then used 0.1.1.0's aeroGUI to confirm it.

Thank you, but because of the way bug reports are handled, it would work better for the dev team if we keep them separate in this case. They could be all directly related, or they could all have their own separate fixes.
-
Its appreciated getting all these bug reports relating to crafts just deciding to have their parts go their separate ways. Hopefully they are all related to the same root cause making it easier to fix.
-
@Phin Merged yours with this one. Same bug. Also added instructions to the developers to find the exact point in the video where the problem happens. So weird seeing parts do that to other parts.

Flight Undocking on pause causes vehicle to disintegrate
Anth replied to BechMeister's topic in v0.1.3
The problem is that a lot of these disassembly bugs seem similar, but they have different ways that them happen. I think I have found 7 related bug reports and I can't merge any of them.- 26 replies
