  1. I've been hiking in northern New Mexico before, and it was actually bearable. I think it was because there was almost no humidity, and I'm used to muggy, sticky heat. But yes, we carried a folding 5-gallon jug to fill at camp. We'd finish about two off in a few hours.
  2. Scratch that, it's now 77F. Five whole degrees in less than two hours! What is this thing you call "ice"?
  3. Here in Virginia, it's 72F. In February. It's usually about 15-35F this time of year. I could almost be wearing shorts. IN FEBRUARY! This jetstream better fix itself, I want a snow day.
  4. Where I live, we get two grades - one for academics and then another for conduct. It's either U (unsatisfactory), S (satisfactory), or O (outstanding). He could be referring to that.
  5. I have no rocket smarts to add that hasn't already been said, so I'll give you an organization tip that's known as "S.M.A.R.T. goals." I don't want to clutter this thread with non-rocket stuff, so if you are interested, I can PM you the details.
  6. Someone call Ender... he's got another game to play.
  7. Who has more resources? One of them could pull a WWII-style attrition war. Bonus if the underdog gets their Really Big Ally With Big Guns And Money to change the course of the war. MAD. I like it. This is why we don't use nukes^^^
  8. I found a good remix of Paint It Black by Hidden Citizens. I'm also learning to play the original on my violin.
  9. F4U Corsair! Fun fact: One of Grumman's planes (think the Wildcat) was going to be called "Tomcat", but it was felt that the name was too suggestive for the time. Thirty years later, this name was bestowed on the F-14, one of the best fighters ever flown by the US Navy. My second would be the P-47 Thunderbolt, but mainly because it had another amazing plane named after it...
  10. I've heard that the USS Enterprise (CVN-65) is also being decommissioned. Sad to see both go. On Topic: I drew an F-14 in math on Friday, but I can't find it. I'love edit this if I do.
  11. You've just summed up the entire Internet.
  12. Yeah I don't think he was. Nor would he tell us.
  13. "Showerthought" is a loose term that applies to the types of thoughts you might have while carrying out a routine task like showering, driving, or daydreaming. At their best, showerthoughts are universally understood and find the amusing/interesting within the mundane. For my showerthoughts thread.
  14. This kinda sounds like you were using illegal substances...
  15. Similar to /r/showerthoughts, but here on the forums! "Showerthought" is a loose term that applies to the types of thoughts you might have while carrying out a routine task like showering, driving, or daydreaming. At their best, showerthoughts are universally understood and find the amusing/interesting within the mundane. -/r/showerthoughts Post away!
  16. I understand nothing. I'll just stick to a computer built by a person who knows what they're doing.
  17. If you use Windows, it may be in your Recycle Bin folder. Check that, and if it isn't there, follow Warzouz's advice.
  18. You could do what I do: redownload the game. I do this for major updates. I keep a copy of .90, 1.0.5, and 1.2 on my hard drive. I just go on the site and download the most recent version. Same cost, same account, different instance.
  19. Go Patriots! Woooo! Both of my parents are from Connecticut, so I'm more or less forced to root for them.
  20. 'Murican English, and I am currently learning Spanish in school. You soy de Kerbin America.
  21. I don't use visual mods, I play on a laptop. I also will not play RSS/RO, I like my Kerbals the way they are, thank you. Also, any mod that adds a billion and one parts, again, RAM. However, I do think that the fact that we have these mods is amazing.
