Ground Effect Development Thread
Supercheese replied to Capital_Asterisk's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
If I had to guess, probably not very much, since this mod just increases the lift generated by aerodynamic surfaces, and I believe said lift is only generated when there is forward velocity. Since VTOL will be mostly devoid of forward velocity, I wouldn't expect to see much effect. -
There is, in fact, a 1.4 version of Bon Voyage:

Did you try the demo first or buy the game?
Supercheese replied to fyrgeit's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I tried the demo first and was completely hooked. Bought the game promptly thereafter. -

A minor detail, but the USS Macon was not one of the rigid airships given to the USA by Germany. The Macon was constructed in Ohio at the Goodyear-Zeppelin manufacturing plant. You may have been thinking of the USS Los Angeles, which was indeed a rigid airship constructed in Friedrichshafen, Germany, and given to the USA.

[Minimum KSP version - 1.12] Kerbal Inventory System (KIS) v1.29
Supercheese replied to IgorZ's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Although I have never attempted to precisely align a network of satellites, I do believe the Station Keeping mod can be helpful in the situation you've described: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/173518-141-stationkeeping-restationed-precise-synchronous-orbits/ -
Universal Storage 1.4.0.0 (For KSP 1.4.x) 13th March 2018
Supercheese replied to Paul Kingtiger's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
It's probably because both Universal Storage1 & 2 use the same name for their plugin -- UniversalStorage.dll -

Although in microgravity in orbit, why should the mass limits matter? -

I assembled an interplanetary ship in orbit! I broke it up into two parts, front & rear, and launched them separately, then joined them in orbit using Konstruction ports. The two rovers were also launched and docked separately. (I have a lot of parts mods installed, but Stockalike Station Parts Redux by Nertea is the best, IMO.) Life support and habitation systems test was successful (USI Life Support), now just waiting on the transfer window. A resupply mission to top up fuel, water, and snacks is scheduled immediately prior to departure. This thing is very cool but it is tanking my framerate, unfortunately...

We just got stock Personal Parachutes, now you want Personal Heatshields?

Feline Utility Rovers is an absolutely splendid mod. The Near Future suite is as well. -

Today I was on a quest to finish collecting Science from every single Biome on Kerbin, and in every single Situation possible! This meant hunting for rarities such as Splashed at Mountains and Landed at Water. My final trip was to hunt for Splashed at Highlands, and thanks to a prior forum thread here (https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/158035-splashed-down-biome-science-in-122/) I confirmed that there is still indeed the potential to gather Splashed at Highlands science in v1.4.3!
