How about using Tweakscale to make really tiny landers? What penalty would it cause?

Are there any planets/moons you don't like? If so, why?
Human Person replied to MythicalHeFF's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Moho: Great challenge getting there, interesting geology. Eve: My all time favorite body in the system: come on, super high gravity, dense atmosphere, high mountains, oceans. Super challenging. Eve has it all! Gilly: Boring. The super low gravity makes landing very tedious. It's only purpose seems to be mining outpost for Eve missions. Mun: Pretty average, boring. I don't like the grey color Minmus: Too easy, but I like it for it's look. Duna: looks nice, the thin atmosphere makes it somehow unique. Ther could be some more geology going on. Ike: I hate Ike, it's just annoying. Laythe: Too much ocean Tylo: Love it for the Challenge of landing there, Tylo's fine. Vall: Beautiful. I like Vall for its look. Bob: Meh, but the Kraken is worth a visit. Pol: Landing is just tedious, and it's ugly. Eeloo: I like Eeloo, but I can't quite put my finger on why. -

Make a wish... and have it horribly corrupted!

Granted, you're wherever she is, thereby you're not able to do the things anymore that are the reason you didn't move where she is. Those things must have been really important as they kept you from moving there in the first place and now you're neglecting them, ha! Wait! That doesn't sound very corrupted ... You also get hit by a car! I wich I would always be happy. -
Docking ports are no airlocks.

Granted, kerbiloid gets a like. I wich the weekend was longer. -
Depends wich Converter you're using. http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Ore http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Liquid_fuel http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Oxidizer So... Ore is twice as dense as fuel, but the big converter converts 1 unit of ore into 2 units of fuel, meaning your vessel's mass stays the same when converting ore to fuel. the small converter inputs more ore and outputs less fuel, so you should use this one on the surface.

Getting an RC joystick to work with KSP?
Human Person replied to manifold's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I really like the Idea of controlling KSP with an RC Controller. It would make rovers, planes and everything else feel more like toys. Unfortunately, I can't help you with this, but I'm very interested in the idea. I guess the main problem is the interface, getting the remote to communicate with the PC Mac? -
Yes. @munlander1

Granted, you meet a red iron crown. You conversation is a bit one-sided as it's a lifeless object. I wich I would work at Space X. -

KSP Caveman Evolved Challenge

It might take a while to finish, so I have a little teaser for my upcoming Jool 5. This has been 4 launches: 1 for nearly the whole thing (it took me only 2 tries to get it in orbit. The first one was a pretty spectacular failure) 1 for the crew in their return pod 1 for the tug/refueler you can see on the right 1 to refuel the tug/refueler because It was under engineered. Assembly was done not in LKO, but in a highly elliptical Kerbin Orbit. This saves us 550 m/s on our final ejection, while still having full tanks. -
I extend your hole, digging in a circle. Now there's a hill in the middle, my hill.

Fixing a design mistake
Human Person replied to canisin's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
KIS/KAS seems to be a good idea, but concider this too: I'd probably just replace the module. -

Which ship design is best for Eve?
Human Person replied to Silverwood's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
For small probes, yes. Reentry can be very hot though. Not only use a heat shield but also make sure it is attached to a quite heat tolerant part itself, as heat transmission is relevant too. If you attach a heat shield to a probe core, the probe core will most likely overheat, because its heat tolerance is only 1200K. I found that putting heat sensitive parts in a cargo bay and putting a heat shield on the cargo bay works best for little probes. As for the ascent: I don't find it particularly difficult to build an ascent vehicle for Eve. Simply add boosters until you have 8 to 10 km/s of delta v, with a TWR of just over 1. The hard part is the atmospheric entry and the landing of such a massive vehicle. It's not a bad Idea to land it empty and to refuel it by mining the surface. -

Granted, you wish for getting your wish corrupted. I wish I could figure out that paradox.
