  1. Since the ksp2 team hated it so much, I'll take that this opinion is somewhat unpopular. Career mode is fun, yes the contract system needed a lot of work, but when you slap a couple of mods on top of it, it actually creates a pretty fun experience. I never play ksp without career mode.
  2. AFAIK, that steam update happened to all games, it was a resolution change for store assets
  3. The only thing that we truly know is that the entire dev team was laid off. The KSP twitter account has said that they are still working on the game. But everything else indicates otherwise.
  4. I doubt we can access private betas, even if we get a password. I'd expect this, or other games to have been accessed like that by now
  5. I absolutely agree with you. The game just lack most of the charm the first one had. It's honestly amazing how disconnected I felt from the kerbals while playing this game. If one died it wasn't an issue since they would be replaced without any charge and without the risk of loosing the only pilot that had all the SAS controls. Also I feel like the career mode for ksp1 was straight up better, I like having to work with the limitations of the initial KSC, having to find a way to optimize the space ship to use 30 parts or having to eye ball a mun flyby. Meanwhile in ksp2 you can probably get a duna flyby with the initial parts tbh.
  6. Some people in the EU and Australia seemed to have gotten some success when asking for a refund despite being way above the maximum hours, thanks to several laws. If you live in any of this places it can't hurt to give it a try, citing several sources as proof that the game has ceased development and all the promises have been left in the dust. If you don't live in the EU or Australia or any place with decent consumer protection laws, then good luck lol
  7. Considering all the money T2 lost in this game and (probably) the terrible state of the game's code. I REALLY doubt anyone is picking up ksp2, at least from it's current state.
  8. I was ready for this since release day
  9. There wasn't any KERB posted, closest thing would be some posts from CMs saying goodbye.
  10. Wouldn't surprise me at all if T2 quietly sweeps ksp2 under the rug and never mentions it again
