That is so cool. It reminds me of that guy who proposed an idea that humanity will exploit asteroids for space travel in the future. His idea though was to hollow them out to use as habitats and make fuel out of them rather than make fertilizer out of them. He imagined that we would be able to go anywhere in the Solar System by Asteroid hopping.

Yeah, it just sounds heavy because alot of things are involved in reducing mass. Combined with the fact the vehicle needs to be much bigger and travelling takes a lot longer in a Solar System scaled career.

Well, I didn't expect this feature in KSP. Anyway I think Kerbal Breeding Program will be more usefull in my colonies rather than interplanetary transfers, landings and returns. Since I already need to haul an immense mass to survive an interplanetary trip, I should make the most of it. Alongside a lander of course, I'll bring probes to make a comm system and to explore Ike aswell.

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Ant432 replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yes indeed. I am still new here so I feel like a tourist every time I visit a landmark. It can get confusing to navigate sometimes though since I came from a much smaller place.- 7,372 replies

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Ant432 replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Concerning my previous comment, I am getting a new rig in about 1-2 months which will have moar power. I recently moved to Munich and I couldn't bring my PC with me so I'm still getting settled properly. Once I do get a new rig I plan on starting a 10x scale GPP career with SMURFF and a bunch of other mods and with science set to 70%, and I do plan on posting screenshots here.- 7,372 replies

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]

Odd. GPP ran fine alongside a lot of other mods on my old pc that had 5GB RAM. I did convert the GameData folder to dds textures which helps save memory a LOT.- 7,372 replies

I plan to stat a game with a 10x rescale and SMURFF and considering the Kerbals with USI LS are quite needy, will I need some special config for USI LS or just bring tons of supplies, hitchikees and cupola modules? Despite ways to reduce mass of supplies needed by a Kerbal I am still afraid I won't be able to go interplanetary at all in a rescaled game. Especially since my config is already strict considering lack of supplies kills them and lack of hab time causes them to become mutinous.

Hey @Yemo, could you include Procedural parts configs similar to Seti-CTT into Ubm? Those configs enabled a Procedural parts only progression but are only avaible in Seti-CTT. Anyway, they still work so I only have to move them into the Ubm folder.

This confuses me. All games have bugs, according to that logic ALL games are unfinished.

Yes, mods enable users to build their own game by using all the mods they want.

Yes, mods are amazing and their creators deserve all the respect. But unfortunaly real life can get in the way and halt updated. I'd be ok with 1.3 being the final version so that we don't have to worry about the updates not existing.

Yes, just like I have waited a few weeks for amazing mods that never updated.

It's amazing how the KSP community is both kind and entitled at the same time. People complain features in this Expansion are avaible in mods while crying about how clouds aren't in stock yet, despite them being avaiable in a mod. Are you all overlooking that unlike mods, the DLC won't become obsolete upon upgrading to a new version?

Why do the plumes have such big gaps ? I ahve to go and manually reduce speed and increase the energy of the plumes.

[1.3.1] Ferram Aerospace Research: v0.15.9.1 "Liepmann" 4/2/18
Ant432 replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I was digging everywhere and I think I might have found the super secret. Will test it and I will confirm if it is real or not. That was easier than expected though, i though i had to do some serious config editing to make it work myself so that it was obvious for others because they know coding while unknown to me since I am very dumb concerning serious config edits.- 14,073 replies

Well, RIP SETI-CTT then. The issue I have with Ubm is simply that it doesn't arrange parts into nodes as well as SETI-CTT did. In SETI-CTT you also unlock RCS earlier, and UBM Challenge makes it impossible to go to orbit early since the RCS is unlocked a science node later than in SETI-CTT and it moves reaction wheels to a 90 science node. From the start UbM was meant as a "casual" alternative to SETI-CTT. SETI-CTT was a completely new tech tree, while UbM was the normal CTT tech tree with the early nodes changed to fit the "Unmanned before manned" gameplay. SETI-CTT also included some new parts, like the old aircraft cockpit with an attachable node in front of it which made starting with a propeller engine from KAX instead of immediately using jet engines possible. Now I can't use KAX propellers becase the cockpit isn't inline. It's livable with UbM but it won't ever replace SETI-CTT for me. It's like replacing an apple with an orange.
