  1. Tested a water belly landing of the ESPOS.. I have noticed this lately... something appears to be messing with bouyancy and perhaps the water level. I started noticing it when I installed DSEV, but I haven't confirmed it.
  2. As long as it only loads when you click on the IVA button, this would be awesome. Seriously doubt we'll see it in stock, a lot of dev time for a feature that most people would be unlikely to use, let alone use a lot. Now, if I could control the kerbal inside the lab and do experiments myself, like a minigame system to earn science....
  3. Just use the "debug" menu. If you're on Windows, it's alt + F12 Linux is Right Shift + F12 Don't remember what Mac is.
  4. Oh, I know vapor is just the effect. How many RCS tanks are you considering? You could always just put a vent on each tank you want to drain, or constantly transfer resources from the other tanks into the tank with the drain. I'm not familiar with RO, so I inferred you only had one resource to dump.
  5. If Kerbals speak reversed Spanish, why is all the writing on the parts in English?
  6. Have you taken a look at the dump valves in Smart Parts? Also, since you like the vapor effects, you might like this too:
  7. Reminds me of one of my very first trips to Eve. I think that's Val, decided to get out and ride in the rover for the ~20 minute burn. IIRC, I forgot she was there and she spent like 2 years in that seat.
  8. I can't decide if this thing is ugly or awesome. Electric planes are a little weird to build. I call it.. The Electric Science Plane... Of Science!!!
  9. It already is, and you can toggle it on and off whenever you want. Under difficulty settings.
  10. I bet you anything that's why the menu is there...creating it was easier than fixing everything perfectly.
  11. I'm not seeing anywhere I could change it, but when I click on a private message, it defaults to the first page. This seems odd, I would think it would default to the last page so I can see the reply without having to manually go to the last page. Is that something that can be changed, or am I doing something wrong?
  12. Science game put a relay satellite in a solar near polar orbit. Just, uh... cause.
  13. With that set, I think you should be able to actually safety get a Kerbal into orbit and back. I always focus on the nodes that give you more science equipment and solar power generation first. You can't get very far without batteries and panels! Welcome!
  14. Hey look what just came up on Spotify! I have a couple big buckets of Legos in the basement, haven't been touched in awhile. Mostly standard pieces, some of them are probably older than I am. My big thing was K'nex. Got my first set when I was 6 (right about when they came out, 92-93ish). Of course now they're trying to be like Lego with bricks and whatnot.
  15. Yes I did. Reading up on this specific processor seems that the random 80-90 degree spikes is just what the 7700 and 7700K do. Intel says it's normal. I've seen what happens when you don't apply thermal paste. Geek Squad did it to my mom's computer once against my recommendation that she have them mess with it. It wouldn't even boot to Windows before shutting down.
  16. Should be on the bottom right corner of the menu screen when you start the game.
  17. You need a ship that will still have a little bit of fuel left after getting into orbit. To de-orbit, point your ship retrograde, and burn the engines until your periapsis is ~30-35km. Oh, and don't forget your parachutes. Heat shields are a good idea too, although not always needed. Example: Here's a small space station I have going in my science save. Once I'm done sciencing, the pod will detach, burn retrograde until I have the periapsis where I want, then it will decouple the tank and engine. I've got two drogue chutes and two normal chutes for landing.
  18. Most just have you copy their content into your GameData folder. Each mod's thread should have download links and installation instructions.
  19. I removed the rear fan because I figured with those two giants on the heat sink, it would be alright. I also thought that I simply wouldn't have room. Although after getting the cooler in there, it looks like I do. The big downside to this is that it was a pain to install in the case that I really don't want to pull it out again, and I'm not too keep on putting the fan on the outside. So far my temps seem ok, except for constant spikes on the processor.... which is apparently very, very common on the 7700K. Will do it no matter much cooling you have, with de-lidding being the fix...which not sure I wanna do.
  20. Haven't noticed. Every time I've looked down there it seems legit. Maybe it in coincides with you being online. Maybe your computer is infected with member-creating-spamware! Or maybe it's YOU DOING IT ALL ALONG.
  21. You clicked the unclickable to see if it was in fact unclickable, and it was?
  22. Which don't work, they just re-direct you to KSP's website.
  23. Well, I did it. i7 7700K, another 16 GB of RAM, and the biggest freaking air cooler I've ever seen. Good thing the original computer bundle came with such a freakishly large case. Has a 140mm and 120mm fan on the cooler, moved the original rear case fan to the top. When I took this monster out of its case I was worried I wouldn't be able to use my GPU or put in the new RAM. Side panel just barely makes it on.
