I'm pretty sure you can fix that with a phone call, they just won't let you do it a lot. There are... other options, as well. Ones that aren't essentially rentals. Use the money you didn't give to MS just because they wanted it on a good UPS with equipment coverage.

You mean with the booster in a couple thousand pieces? Yeah... me too.

The amount of money I've spent on PC hardware just to make this game happy.

Fuel cells not producing power
Geonovast replied to Zaccy200's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Fuel cells only produce EC when the batteries get below a certain threshold. I want to say it's 85%. If your batteries are below that, then some screenshots would help. -
It's green for me at the index page. When I click it, it asks me which forum I want to post in. Even when I'm signed out, it's green, and it takes me to the page to start a new thread. It just warns me that a moderator will need to approve the post... I'm gonna see if it'll even let me "post" as a guest... Edit: Nope, can't. Just asks you to sign up.

Fuel Consumption Calculation
Geonovast replied to Aelipse's topic in KSP1 General Mod Development Help and Support
Can you post the config file you're using? Pretty hard to diagnose this without actually seeing the numbers. -

I've seen Iron Man 2 at least a dozen times, as it's one of my favorite of the MCU, but I didn't find out until yesterday that Elon Musk was in it. -
That would be neat. Since the basically functionality exists in the game already, it would probably help with the creation of the mod. That said, I thought mods like this existed already? Maybe I'm wrong. I know there are warp-drive mods.

So basically the rendezvous option in the F12 menu.

It's weird how this is so legitimately unsettling. It's like... yeah, they may catch the fairing, but the boosters are people.

Literally everything I said while driving in the Washington, DC area is not repeatable on these forums. A big part is the fact that it is way, way too easy to get (and keep) a driver's license in this country (USA). Last time I got my license renewed, there was an elderly woman in there to get a renewal as well. Must have been in her 80s. While I was waiting for my new license to print, she did her eye test. And failed. And failed. And failed. They kept trying to skirt around the rules by saying stuff like "Maybe your hair is in your eyes", "Are you sure your (coke-bottle) glasses are straight?", "Maybe it's the machine, let's try another one!". Anything to get this nearly blind woman who didn't seem to know what was going on to keep her license. I have had people stop in the middle of a parking lot, holding up other cars, waiting for a parking space where the driver was still loading their groceries. All to avoid having to walk an additional 40-50 feet into the building. I won't be happy driving until it's legal to push start people who don't go when the light turns green. Which, in this town, happens at least 20-30% of the time. Ironically this is the same town where running red lights because you don't want to wait is an area pasttime.

Looking for a Welding Mod I saw in a video...

You don't need MKS for Konstruction, you can get them as a standalone mod. -
Can you Rename tourists?
Geonovast replied to Tabris's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Just open up the persistant.sfs file in a text editor. Use the "replace" function to replace every instance of what the name currently is to what you want it to be. Save the file under a different name (in case you bork something) and load. Although a "Rename any kerbal" mod would be handy. -

Normally I would have, but timing was out of our control, since this trip was set around my wife's uncle being buried in Arlington. I stupidly got starry-eyed for Discovery, and decided to turn it into a vacation, not thinking about what the driving situation would be like. It's impossible to park anywhere in this town without paying out the nose for the privilege - if you can even find a spot. Of course, now that I've seen one space shuttle.... I must see them all. Atlantis will be when I manage to get down to FL for a F9(or FH) launch - which I obliviously have to do soon before they stop flying the things. Endeavour is just a few miles from where my brother is in LA, so that will be grouped with a visit with him and his super-expensive camera. I'll also rope him into a trip to SpaceX, to get a nice close look at B1019. Pathfinder will likely happen on the drive down to FL. Enterprise will be the tricky one. I will not drive in New York City. -
I thought they weren't going, so I ended up being a few minutes behind. Oh well! Beautiful launch!

I'm kinda glad it was pushed off, I wouldn't have been able to watch it last night, but I can tonight! And possibly tomorrow! (depending on my wifi/data situation at the hotel)

Geonovast replied to Ultimate Steve's topic in The Lounge
Today was one of the most overwhelmingly stressful days ever, between driving in DC, PARKING in DC (I reserved parking online, but didn't know it was valet until I got there, so that was new.), and walking around The National Mall with an autistic 9 year old who was grumpy the whole time and had no less than 4 meltdowns. But I got to see this. And got to hang out under Apollo-Soyuz for a bit. The only other museum we had an opportunity to visit was the Museum Of Natural History, which wasn't all that exciting. I can't wait to get out of this town. -
There's not a whole lot of distinction in this country. I would definitely call that place a hotel, but it had Motel in the name. Everything else about the place was pretty nice. The rooms were really clean and incredibly spacious. Pool was nice. The wifi was just crap, and they blamed the "expected storm". For some reason, my daughter's laptop could connect fine, mine just refused. She was just sitting there streaming YouTube while I could load Google in 5 minutes, if I was lucky. I think we were grabbing different APs. The hotel I'm in now though has great Wifi.

I'm confused... won't them changing anything on the F9 affect their human certification? Or are they hoping to get another 7 flights in beforehand?

Having to click on spoilers to see replies is getting pretty tedious, guys.
