The James Webb Space Telescope and stuff
DAL59 replied to Streetwind's topic in Science & Spaceflight
The ISS isn't a one part thing though. It has functionality before completion though. They built the Apollo rocket, lander, and capsule in a decade. This is a waste of money, especially because the BFR could launch an unfolded version.- 869 replies

In the Kerbal Edu subforum, there is a stickied post called forum rules. Its date is 1969 and it is an unavailable page. It was probably never noticed because nobody visits that subforum.

‘Feature Complete’?
DAL59 replied to Stephen10188's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
@Stephen10188 You haven't been here for... 4 years. Welcome back. -
@Angel-125 Are there any of your mods that add very large heatshields, like on the pegasus?
-
Do you know of anyway to increase load distance? It would be very cool to see a planet covered in habitats in game.
-
How did you make this image work? Isn't there a load distance limit of a few km? I think Eeloo would probably be isolationist, and using the ice to fuel a starship that will take a long time to construct.
-
I think someone talked about it in the what did you do in ksp today thread, it would add a giant shield.

Terriers to orbit Part Two (Poodle time)
DAL59 replied to DAL59's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
What about Poodles? -
Kerbals should leave footprints. It wouldn't take up much space to store the coordinates of each footprint.
-
I did something like that in Orbiter 2010 once. I accidentally EVAed someone while ascending from Venus, and had to go back and catch them. I barely had enough fuel to enter a stable orbit.

So, you have a plane on a conveyor belt...
DAL59 replied to Randazzo's topic in Science & Spaceflight
If the treadmill is frictionless, and has no legs, the treadmill will slam into the back of the plane. -
This is a very interesting mission because it has a lot of deployables. It carries the return capsule, 4 rovers, a detachable anti-tank round, and a detachable camera(so it can move out of the way of the debris).

No, it merely must match the tangential velocity. -
Solution: Get the photino birds. http://spacebattles-factions-database.wikia.com/wiki/Photino_Birds

They control half the galaxy. They should have a hundred in every system.
