@Nertea You make a ton of brilliant part mods and Near Future is just one of them. My favourite has to be NF Spacecraft...downloaded. There's some command pods in there I never knew I needed Yeah, I was wondering that too. What exactly are they? -

Technically asteroids count as parts, not celestial bodies. It might be a little hard to figure out how to make a part produce gravity. And the biggest types of asteroids in KSP are still quite small in IRL asteroid terms, so they would still only produce a negligible amount of gravity.

I just realised I haven't posted any pics of my completed station yet. So here's the fully operational Space Station Eillorf Kerman, crewed by Bill, Madsey, Rosgar, Diny, Barry and Thomry Kerman, and serviced by occasional Space Shuttle flights. The station is in a roughly 180km circular orbit. In the picture above: Bottom left: Multiple docking adapter 2, greenhouse Centre: Core module-contains cupola, airlock, and lab Centre left: Solar arrays, Sr port 1, storage Centre right: Command module, KOOSE escape pod nest Top right: main habitation, multiple docking adapter 1. -

Welcome to the forums, @DerpyShark35! A few questions to help us diagnose your problem: -Is your computer powerful enough to run KSP? Generally 4GB RAM is the lower limit. You can find the full system requirements on the KSP Wiki. -Are you using the launcher? It hasn’t been supported officially for a while. Try using the ‘KSPx64.exe’ shortcut in the KSP directory. -Are you using any mods? These increase the RAM usage of KSP, and you may not have enough. If you are using mods, make sure that they are updated to the version you’re using and that you have all of the required dependencies. And could you post your log? There are instructions to find it here: Important note: Please don’t post your whole log here. Add it on a file sharing service like dropbox and then link to it here instead. I hope this helps! I do like all of the new textures and features that we've seen so far, and I am indeed looking forward to 1.6. Since I don't use any social media apart from the forum, and I'm sure many others don't either, this will be a very useful thread. Thanks @MR L A! I did post this on the ADTP-2-3 revamp thread, but I think that the revamp of that part points toward a revamp of the 3.75m parts. I think that will be previewed soon, if it is a thing. -

I often write mission reports on my thread, and put them in spoilers. When I, say, receive a notification while writing, I go to look at the notification, then come back to my thread. While the forum saves your WIP post until you come back, it doesn't do so for anything in a spoiler, so I have to re-write my whole report. Would it be possible to have the forum save stuff in spoilers? It's a bit annoying to have to start again every time you come back to the page. (And BTW, I hope that made sense )

How many mods do you have installed? A lot of stuff has changed since 1.1.3, and mods may have broken. Check if there are 1.5.x compatible versions of those mods. I don’t think any parts were added into the base game in 1.4, but there were replacements for old-style parts. (Does the Mk1-3 pod count as a new part?)

Best game I’ve ever played. Of course, there are flaws, but they are ultimately cancelled out by the awesome stuff. While the stock game is brilliant by itself, it’s made even better by the mods, which allow you to shape the game however you wish. And I might be in a minority here, but I do appreciate SQUAD revamping the parts, and I’m always looking forward to the next update where we’ll get more shiny stuff to play with!

Actually, I believe TWP can create a manoeuvre node for you, but you need the Precise Manoeuvre mod to actually place the node on your trajectory. (BTW, I would recommend PM, it's a brilliant quality of life improvement mod).

Thanks for the tips! I’ll try to get some screenshots in the SPH tomorrow of the dry and wet CoM. I do occasionally fly the Cormorant space shuttle by @Pak; in that case I have an angled probe core which I can control from, so that SAS holds me at the correct pitch. The Trajectories mod is also quite useful for pinpointing your trajectory back to the KSC.
