  1. They look pretty much the same height, I think it's just the stand that SN8's sitting on making it seem taller.
  2. I'm late to the party but... *excited screaming* IT'S TIME TO BELLYFLOP
  3. NSF is doing a nosecone mating stream if you want to watch:
  4. It's certainly a concern. And they emphasised a 'free' cape, which points towards other, paid cosmetics on Java edition. I don't want to be up to my eyes in monetisation garbage - that's one of the main reasons why I play Minecraft Java and not Bedrock.
  5. Yeah, I guess. Looking at the LabPadre feed, we saw an engine come out and get lowered out of view, then another Raptor (or possibly the same one and they just removed it for inspection) went in a while later. I'm not sure why.
  6. I just thought about this - wouldn't they want to keep all 3 Raptors if they were doing a header tank static fire? Wouldn't they want to see how the plumbing handles 3 engines drawing propellant at once?
  7. Possible. We'll just have to see what they do. It looked to me like they did a pressure test on the nosecone header tank this morning alongside the RCS tests, as we saw what was definitely venting. It makes sense, they wouldn't want to install the nosecone only to find that the header tank doesn't hold pressure.
  8. No, I think it's a hook for lifting with a crane. Also, a Raptor has been removed from SN8 for some reason (sorry for small image, I screenshotted it from the LabPadre stream)
  9. Is it possible to return those buttons to where they belong, or is that just part of the forum software update?
  10. They clearly discovered a Mun Moon Arch.
  11. As @mabdi36 said above, it's RealPlume, a visual mod. It changes how engine plumes look, but the engines being used above are the stock LV-Ns.
  12. The SN8 nosecone's RCS was tested at 5:53 am local time:
  13. We do already have the majority of information that KER provides in the stock game (dV, TWR, AGL altitude, orbital information, etc), so what more would you want?
  14. I'm pretty sure even this forum software has support for themes - at least on the old version of the forum UI there was a dropdown for themes at the bottom, but the only themes available were the default (ie, blinding white) and a copy of the default for some reason. All it would take for the forum team to get a nice comfortable dark background would probably be shelling out $20 on some Invision online store, but they haven't done that.
  15. Yeah, fair enough. I just wish there was a built-in dark theme so that I could avoid using the forums as a high-intensity light source without having to install a browser extension.
  16. I just turned the Stylish dark theme I was using off and they reappeared. Weird. @HebaruSan could you take a look at that? Using the regular forum theme is blinding
  17. I'm not seeing the devblogs list on the right side of the screen anymore, has that been removed? I still see a 'developer articles' tab at the top of the screen near the logo but that list at the side appears to have gone.
  18. Presumably James Bond is considerably less well-known in the context of the films, or you'd be right: he wouldn't be a very useful secret agent.
  19. Well, having one version of Minecraft that didn't have any Microsoft in it was fun while it lasted. I just hope they don't go any further like they did with the mobile and console versions of the game *cough* microtransactions *cough*
  20. Looks nice! I hope they fix more of the longstanding bugs too
  21. It's mainly annoying because it's a change that makes something harder to do for absolutely no reason.
