NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT Greetings! I have asked @Sparkle for their permission to update / continue / adopt / release this wonderful mod. By the way: Love the name of this Mod! This mod is very relevant since am the current maintainer of SimpleConstruction! Hopefully I hear back from @Sparklewith an answer by the end of April 2020; but in case I don't hear back by then I intend to respectfully proceed as permitted by the mod license. I will provide recognition of original authors/maintainers; and I will gladly step aside should @Sparkle ever wants to continue this mod. Thank you kindly in advance! Foundations: updated by @4x4cheesecake on GitHub NOTE: Does anyone have the original files with the parts? Anything and everything would be great. -

Agree. A well written, well thought comment that is very much appreciated. +1 Not much I can do (ability) to adjust the models, and overall have chosen to make err toward playability rather than toward realism. With that said, I am going to attempt to provide improvements based upon these (and other suggestions) 'Slowing Me Down' : mini-Drogue chute - using scaled down version of a round chute (16) with the stats of a scaled down radial drogue. I don't want to see rectangles on this, and so a round bump feels better visually. I will see if I can also add attachment nodes to them and recess them into the body a hair so they don't look too out of place. Might even attempt to re texture them (stretch). If I am able to add attachment nodes will try to make them work with symmetry so can add both at once. thought also occurs to me that could put the drogue chutes on either the dorsal-stern (top back) inside or the ventral-stern (bottom-back) inside wings 'Pushing Me Forward' : Upgrade to the miniPuff (the miniSuperPuff) - make the miniPuff a multi-Mode MonoPropellent engine: one vacuum mode (as it is now) 4.5kn @ 270 isp one landing mode: 10-15kn @ 120 isp am considering lowering vacuum isp to 260 and raising the 1 atmosphere to 190 (wobbly numbers) am considering adding a attachment node to the miniPuff on the top. I would also add attachment nodes to either the stern of wings or the body. Would also attempt to make them work with symmetry (if on body) Did you ( @Daniel Prates )have any issues with the landing gear during landing? too much suspension? I will keep on the lookout for someone willing to make an IVA - would be great with the new version of RPM that @MOARdV is making. Again thank you for the feedback! Kindly keep giving! Might not seem like allot, but feedback is how we try to make mods better. Hard to improve in a vacuum.

agree. I agree. Know anyone who is willing to make one? noted, and am listening. Maybe because it suffers from excessive cuteness, which has been known to make things sleek and aerodynamic. In all seriousness, good observation.

mine was in 1.8.1 / 1.7.3 and 1.9.1 - but nothing extensive. I will be pushing a 1.8.1 release hopefully later this week. no new FS that I know of. I really didn't change anything - just added in more items (with their defaults).

+1 Thank you. I have added modified versions to SimpleConstruction! Will be updating NSSC (Not So SimpleConstruction!) to reflect this soon. Also caused me to realize I should update ARP to include a patch for where the icons moved to - to quiet KSP log spam. above are BETA patches. Will not release until I have feedback (or lack thereof). -

It is released for 1.7.x It MAY work on other versions. /YMMV/ I will release for 1.8.1 after a short period of feedback. Just For Everyone to understand - this is how I operate.

Thank you. Fixed in both ScrapYard and OhScrap! yes, this is part of ScrapYard - I don't know why it would throw an exception if ContractConfigurator isn't installed - @severedsolo - have any idea? @Corax would you be so kind as to go to GitHub and put in an issue/bug for this? That way it doesn't get lost.

Thank you. I appreciate as much feedback as I can get, and will be looking forward to more if I am allowed to adopt. I agree on this. My standard adoption package usually includes moving all non-stock items out of the part.cfg's. I will usually leave in TweakScale and necessary items. I have already converted all the .dds to DX5. Already updated all the model texture pointers to .dds. and so on. A few other things I noticed, but they are already being worked on locally. -

Well, I am working toward it. I have permission - it is now just finding the time. I have three add-ons that need to get updated first - and have gotten 93% done - just one or two stuck points. Then it is a matter of going through the backlog. I will see if I can push it forward. That I cannot say - but will look. Okay - I looked - there is a an OSEWorkshop patch. snatched this comment from one of the patches: // Adds OSE Workshop and OSE Recycler to KD-MobileVAB - so it does look like it. /YMMV/ I have no plans to remove that patch. -
+1 I like this idea. The code exists (GPLv3 : Konstruction) - the issue becomes if there are more than two nodes - and how would one handle surface attachments. If it is only available for parts with two nodes - and no surface attachments.... Suggest dropping a feature request on GitHub. I also accept PR's (one can dream! :D) I will probably have a surprise or two in store for the next version.
