  1. I re-reversed multiple of them not too long ago, and none of them made sense. Were there any other effects used on the sounds?
  2. I've looked over the bug page and the details on it. I'll try this with installing each of the troublesome mods individually. Thanks for the insight! Edit: KAS is still not installing, no matter how many times I spam retry. I'll instead install it manually.
  3. I'm experiencing difficulties with CKAN. Every few mods it tosses me a 403 (Forbidden). This goes on random mods of my 1.4.5 install (it did MechJeb2 once, is doing KAS multiple times, has done the GPP Textures once). It makes installation long and painful for those things that need installing via a backup site, and for those that don't have a backup, it cancels the installation. I'm gonna install those things manually. I just wanted to let you know these mods were being difficult in 1.4.5 installs.

I don't know what manner in which you guys are discussing how mods will work, but I'm thinking my ideal method of handling mods in servers (depending on how KSP2 modding works in single player) is that only a certain amount of mods are allowed by each server. All are required for accurate multiplayer. I hope CKAN or something similar is built in to KSP2 for automatic server modlist matching.
  6. Say, how do you get these audio clips from Apollo sounds? What effects do you add on? I need to know so I can create more that sound less Kerbal and more human (for a game I'm making).
  7. I'm sure they're gonna have KSP2 pay the same way as KSP does now. From a monetary standpoint it will either be pay once and play the game with the option to get DLC, or pay once period. I am sure of this.
  8. Kerbal Attachment System and Kerbal Inventory System. I once built a big rocket on the Runway with a KAS crane and KIS welding tools. It's amazing and you really should try it. Planet packs also do wonders, as mentioned many times before. If you're not into changing from stock too much, try JNSQ-- perfectly suited for stock parts with higher difficulty.
  9. I honestly can't remember them (my memory is about as bad as that of a goldfish). Only that it was not uninstalling a mod properly and I had to reinstall the mods.
  10. It seems to me like moving to the latest update caused a lot of bugs. Those bugs I solved with following the instructions to uninstall and reinstall everything.
  11. List your favorite mods here. People can stop by and take a look at what works for many people, and use those mods. That's why I made this-- so those of us looking for good mods have a place to check out. My list: Kerbal Attachment System, Kerbal Inventory System, Kerbal Alarm Clock, Restock+ (honestly, I would change just a few of the Restock textures, but that's just me), Mechjeb2, Hullcam, Tweakscale.
  12. KAS is amazing and fun! I like to build cranes and swing around parts before building a rocket with KIS. It's certainly amazing, but I've seen one feature in pictures and videos and stuff that I can't figure out how to do. I can't figure out how to make normal cross-vehicle struts with the small orange ports. I've seen people's results with this, but I don't know how to do it. Example (part of Conquering Whirligig by Ultimate Steve) below.
  13. Obvious statement is obvious, but yes, you are correct. I hope the time at which the circumnavigating Kerbal saves the universe is soon. I forget if it was specifically saving the universe...
  14. Gonna go try this in a JNSQ install. I'll see how it goes! Sounds very complex, but very capable.
  15. We might need some good craft for modeling. But our most stressing needs are animators, and to an extent, voice actors. At least with this problem, you learn a bit about networking. (Basically my pep talk to myself whenever I have to file dive to see where I misplaced a file so KSP can start. "Oh, don't worry, you're gaining valuable tech savviness!")
  16. Great, we need all the help we can get with it (especially if you have a usable microphone or animation skills, we need animators and moar voice actors).
  17. We all did. And for a good reason, too-- it's epic! We're currently working on growing it into something bigger and much more amazing.
  18. *confuse* Ah, but you forgot about our Moon, which has slingshotted you outwards from Earth!
