  1. Or you can use YouTube. The difference with online subscriptions is that you have to pay for something essential for the experience, that is free on other platforms, versus streaming services where there are free ones with adds or ones where you can buy movies and shows. Also, with the movies a lot of the money goes to the producers for royalties, but with online subscriptions the consumer already covers the cost directly. Paying for internet and buying/buying stuff in the game. And also you can eat the burger without meat and the restaurant can sell it to you, but would you not go to a different restaurant where the net cost is lower? I'm addition many games rely on multiplayer due to bad or no singleplayer to be fun (splatoon, battle royal (Minecraft survival games ripoffs,) Minecraft played in a fun way and many more.) Sony and Microsoft are charging you for the privilege to use something you've already played for, whereas other subscriptions your just buying something.
  2. Yeah, even though consoles are cheaper, pc's have higher value, not due to hardware but because console players are always getting screwed by Sony and Microsoft. And the lack of "free" multiplayer and file management. Also, online subscriptions are so stupid, because your already paying for internet (it's be like ordering a hamburger and not getting any meat without paying extra.) I'm super glad I play on pc, and the Nintendo Switch is the first and last console I'll ever buy.
  3. There is a 1.8 "beta" that works fine in 1.10, but I recommend just using TUFX, which essentially does the same thing but better. I believe you can download it here https://github.com/c1usta/KS3P/releases
  4. Receives Mars Pathfinder. Inserts starship.
  5. This game is simple, come up with reasons that SLS sucks, or just make fun of SLS. I'll go first: Uses expensive shuttle engines designed for reuse, despite there being multiple better engine choices out there.
  6. Banned for taking the whole "I love viking" thing too far. (Definitely didn't do the same thing with a well respected never ridiculed dwarf planet.)
  7. Waiter, my soup ran into a problem and needs to restart.
  8. This question is pretty simple, but how will consoles behave with multiplayer? Will they be cross compatible with other consoles and pc players, will they have full multiplayer but limited to other users of the same console. Will they have limited multiplayer (for example only co-op, no servers?)
  9. What's wrong with having the huge ones in rails? No sane person would try to move them. And why do the need to be in rails to have gravity? Just accelerate the player towards it. The only (albeit very major) issue I could see with that at solution is that it could cause serious kraken problems with landed ships. Which is probably why gravitational objects are on rails anyway. I was just throwing the idea out there to see if someone could figure out a way to make it work but it looks like it's impossible without rewriting the physics engine to be like principia.
  10. Can you do beyond home after GPP?
  11. I believe this already exists, there are little white bars in the burn time thingy that represent stages.
  12. Yes, particularly the mk1 cockpits, which can't survive a reentry from lko. They should add a heavier and more expensive version with ablator.
  13. I'm pretty sure the largest comets do, as in they can be orbited but have so little gravity that there are no other effects although orbital velocity would be like 1 m/s, since these do have a decent fraction of gilly's mass. Although I do think that only the largest comets should have it. Also, in comets, I think they should appear around planets to simulate minor moons. Maybe 4 interstellar 5 medium and 8 small ones around Jool and 4 small ones around Eeloo (you have to give it more than Pluto to compensate for no Charon.) With gravity for the interstellar sized ones. Also, didn't Rosetta orbit a comet? I don't care about clouds of they improve the stock atmosphere and water shader. I mean the stock atmosphere and water shader are worse than the one in alpha Minecraft (the world's second worst water shader.)
  14. What if instead of putting the pc version to mobile, which would be a disaster. T2 contracted a different studio to build the game from the ground up. If the game was built for mobile it could have certain features to make it a usable experience. For example, having smart A.S.S. would make mobile actually playable without watering down the physics. Also, wider/taller phones means that you can have usable ui and a sizable space with the actual gameplay. Also, if there was a dedicated team from within T2 they could pay attention to ui, which would be the hardest part. This game would definitely be possible with automation of certain features and smart ui design. And unlike squad, T2 actually has the resources to do this, and there is monetary incentive for them to do this. Plus, if it's actually enjoyable and doesn't effect ksp1 or ksp2 development than how could it be a bad thing? I think it's very reasonable to have a full features ksp1 on mobile provided that it's done by a competent team given a reasonable deadline by T2.
  15. What about giving comets gravity. Yes, it's not as easy as reskins, but it's also not that hard, just use the gravity code that's existed in the game for years, and use it to accelerate the player towards the comet just like a planet. Of course the harder part is trajectory prediction, but that shouldn't be very hard because all it has to do is simulate the ships path and draw a line in front of the ship to indicate the trajectory. Of course if takes too much time to code such a small change they shouldn't do it. Other than that I would like them to revamp the atmosphere shaders. Not something like scatterer. Just something that doesn't look like a layer of fake fakeness on top of the nice revamped terrain. I would like to see non neon colored atmospheres that fade into space instead of having a definite edge. And having a haze effect would be nice if they were willing to go the extra mile.
