@JadeOfMaar Hi, Just while you are about. I created a very small engine to put on the back of the marine chair to give it a bit more range vs time. I was having trouble with a buoyant engine. I did finally solve it but I noticed that even though I gave it a very small buoyancy 0.0001, because negative hadn't worked, that making the engine have greater mass made it even more buoyant. I read your thread to try to understand why but I am lost. Would you have insights from your extensive work in this field?

Mk2 Expansion actually have a flat door that goes on the end of a Mk2 fuselage. For some reason it was only 1 way and just on the end. So I went in to the config and made it surface attachable and linked it to the simplist "INTERNAL" I had, which was for the Kerbonov passenger can. Now I can put it anywhere and go both ways.

Damn it, now I thinking about ways to build a flying wing big enough to park an Osprey inside of!

Well first I have always liked flying wings. Second, I was watching the last big budget Godzilla movie the other day and I got inspired by the great big flying wing that they were running around in. Problem with that is their one could park at least 3 Ospreys in the rear hangar of the plane. If I build that big I will need to create a custom spawn point out in the grass flats in order to have room to take off. Also when done right you can glide a very long way in a flying wing.

Like swjr-swis said: If it can be made an option to choose, that would be preferable. Many will want to know the latest is available while others like to stick with what they know is working for them.

I can get ducted fan blades to push water but it is not satisfying so I abandoned the idea.

Someone more qualified than me, most likely Caerfinon, will come along and read this and probably get a better Idea. I know I had a problem in 1.9.1 when trying to build bases on other planets, that stopped me from being able to load the game till I fully removed KK and installed fresh. Looks like you may have a conflict with another environmental mod. -

Wow, if that is what it looks like in your game that is absolutely beautiful. I am still proud of the 17, 18 and super 18 I created with standard textures but yours looks photo realistic. simply amazing! I tend to stay away from prop because I find them too fiddly. Hats off to you for being able to use them so well. Really like your Triplane. You should get conformal decals and then make up some flags that look like the Airforces that flew them so you can put them on your planes for that extra nostalgia. Very nice work.

Don't know yet, I have been finalising Working Underwater Lite, which is now ready for upload once Spacedock get back to me for registration. As soon as that is taken care of I will try again,. In theory because you are not leaving Kerbin's influence and travelling in a parallel loop it might register better? -

Love Kerbal Konstructs. Finding Kermundson by chance in the soth pole (Kerbinside remastered I believe) Building my volcano base on crater island. Being able to spawn in to water. And using map decals for the volcano crater and a switchback road, and canyon maze to fly jet fighters through. Also meshes are meshes, so since I can't create my own, finding ones that can be turned static and used for a stunt course with hoops to fly through and things to fly around, being able to put an oversized aircraft carrier in my harbour that can be landed on and taken off from. Finding that the stock spotlight comes with the light on when turned static, then using it to light runways and stunt things. Serious fun. -

Sorry, your previous post said that that was what you did to get what seemed like a run up. So it was confusing to me. Neither the navball or f3 reflected what I should be going at. So I am kinda stuffed for that. -

Well apart from the Waverider class stipulating. The waverider Must be under 15 tons Launched from under 20 km Which means you have to move your record to ballistic class. How do you get the KSP speed program to acknowledge the speed? Like I said, over a million kms out at over 1000 m/s and the program didn't reflect the figures in it's readout. So how come yours did? -

Don't bother going out of orbit for the ballistic challenge. The KSP physics engine falls apart. I went over a million kms out and accelerated down the gravity well, even aimed for a periapsis of 30,000m and at an acceleration of over 1,000 m/s I still went slower than I achieved in atmosphere. I haven't got a slide rule but I reckon accelerating at over 1,000 m/s times a million km going down a gravity well I should have killed the Dinosaurs. As it is I was able to land safely with everything including Jeb but minus the Aeroshell. So I am claiming the "Played Chicken with a Planet in a manned ship and landed safely" booby prize! -

@Vanadiumn I can give you a config file and resources config file to make a new part ballast tank out of stock KSP foil Baguette fuel tank if you like. It works in 1.9.1 and 1.10.1 Unless there is a major change in the folder structure or mesh names in 1.11.1 it should work in it as well. Ahh that explains why I had to put in a new password when I went to upgrade to 1.10.1 Nice to know I wasn't losing my memory.

If this merges then the stuff under this line is separate stuff. All achieved with only configuration files and the stock meshes and textures you get with KSP. Here demonstrated in 1.10.1 @Tsar_bomba
