  1. These look astonishingly detailed. I have no idea where you get the resources that allow for this level of detail on an engine, nonetheless the hours and tedium it took to get this result. Do you do the texturing too? Also, not to come off wrong, but are these getting added to BDB? Had I imagined it, or was 1.12 the last update for BDB 1? Edit, to add: I have not been very active since KSP 2's launch, that circus put out most motivation I had for KSP. Apologies for my lack of briefing.
  2. In a discussion on the BDB thread, it was mentioned that Titan I used a form of Kerolox historically. SSS makes the Titan I LR-91 and LR87 engines use Hypergolic fuel. I'm not sure if you're aware of this, just wanted to let it be known.
  3. I'm using Skyhawk Science System, and it seems that it makes all Titan engines consume Aerozine50 and NTO. Maybe I could bring that up to the maintainer of SSS for accuracy purposes?
  4. Mercury-Titan! (has this been done before?) Perhaps in an alternate timeline where Titan was developed before Atlas. I don't know, that's my slap-on explanation. I'm not sure if there was a better fuel tank for the transition between 1.25m and 1.5m, but at my current spot in the tech tree, the Thor tank was the best I had. Apologies for the bland camera work, it is difficult to get a good angle when focusing on controlling the rocket. Here's some more screenshots from a separate flight with Algol SRBs. I originally had the problem of lacking DeltaV, before I realized the fuel switch on aforementioned Thor tank was fueled with Kerolox instead of Hypergolic fuel which the LR91 engine uses. 5 attempts at an orbit contract and roughly 80k funds were dumped into a rocket carrying 2.3 tons of dead weight in place of much-needed fuel.
  5. Reflectron DP-10 PAW says "Status: Connected" on the launch pad, but the craft is uncontrollable. Any attempts to interact are met with a notification stating "no connection to send command on". Top left GUI says no connection (stock commnet is disabled, i am referring to the RemoteTech HUD addon). There is my ksp.log, but my mods are many and massive, and it would most likely be a terrible pain to shift through. Here are a few details of my save: KSP 1.12.5 Skyhawk Science System, Skyhawk Kerbalism, Bluedog Design Bureau, and KSRSS reborn are my main mods. KSRSS, Kerbalism, and SSS all claim support for Remote Tech, though Kerbalism warns when loading that problems may arise between it and RemoteTech. If this is a known issue or personal error, would anyone know how to fix it?
  6. It's still really out of place though, the engines fit on the fuselage, but just barely without clipping eachother. I'll use the older version for now
  7. Trying it now, and the Cotopaxi isn't the right scale for SOCK / has no configs to rescale for SOCK. Why was this deprecated if it was useful? Is there another mod that I can get a well fleshed-out SSME with waterfall configs and all that jazz?
  8. I'm excited for the terrain. From orbit and on the map, planets look boring, but from what we've seen with the Mun and Duna, It's had a major improvement
  9. If you just port models and textures to KSP2, not only would you spend ages patching the old stuff to work, the artstyles aren't even going to match. Even then, it would still take months if not years to rebuild everything from scratch for the new game! Unless Nertea is leaking some game builds for BDB to keep ahead, I don't know how you would possibly go about a making a BDB mod for KSP 2. I understand that modability is a priority feature for KSP2, but that doesn't mean it won't be a whole new unfamiliar monster to tackle! However you go about such a feat, I wish you luck!
  10. Maybe you should take your time and tell the ungrateful fans to be happy with current progress
  11. The release has duplicate download folders, that looks like this: Bluedog-Design-Bureau-1.11.0.zip Bluedog-Design-Bureau1.11.0.zip They're the same size, probably same contents, but it still causes a little confusion
  12. It looks like sometimes in the tracking station, the moon turns into a black hole. I checked in map and in flight, it only does it in the tracking station. It happened to me when I exited timewarp. It could be caused by another mod since I've got many of those. my KSP log if you need it. Could be undecipherable though (because of the sheer amount of mods).
  13. Do the clouds look good at night? I was thinking you might still be working out a few kinks sinse you've only posted day screenshots. Or it could just be that they're much easier to see in the day
  14. Resolved, I guess the first time I downloaded the mod it didn't work. Downloaded a new copy and it works fine. Edit: After a tad more testing, it looks like the 64k ground textures are causing missing clouds. Maybe I'm installing them wrong?
  15. 1) download KSRSS here: gitlab.com/ksrss/KSRSS/-/tree/reborn - Click the Download button next to the blue "Clone" button to download. Drop the "KSRSS" file into GameData. If you want higher res ground textures, drop everything inside of "KSRSS-64K" into "KSRSS" in GameData. 2) Then download Kronometer: https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kronometer/releases/tag/v1.11.0-1 - Download the Kronometer v1.11.0.zip file, open it, open the GameData folder inside, and drop "Kronometer" into GameData. 3) Download Kopernicus: https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kopernicus/releases - Grab the Kopernicus-1.12.1-139.zip from the latest release, open it, and drop Kopernicus, ModularFlightIntegrator, and 000_Harmony into GameData. 4) Download Custom Barn Kit: https://ksp.sarbian.com/jenkins/job/CustomBarnKit/48/artifact/CustomBarnKit-1.1.22.0.zip (BEWARE this link downloads the file directly, doesn't lead you to a site to download. Click and you've got it) -Open the zip file and drop "CustomBarnKit' into GameData. Some mods have a GameData folder inside of the download to make it easier for people to know where to put the files, it's usually dropping the stuff from the download's GameData into KSP's GameData, but CBK doesn't have that 5) Get EVE and Scatterer too, download procedure is the same as most for those (I could help here too if the download is still confusing). If you want plants and rocks then get Parallax. That's the planet pack and visuals downloaded. If you want Cape Canaveral from real life, follow this: 1) Download Kerbal Konstructs: https://github.com/KSP-RO/Kerbal-Konstructs/releases/tag/v1.8.5.0 - Drop KerbalKonstructs from download's GameData into KSP's GameData. 2) Download Custom Pre Launch Checks (KK dependency): https://github.com/KSP-RO/CustomPreLaunchChecks/releases/tag/1.8.1.1 - Drop CustomPreLaunchChecks from download's GameData into KSP's GameData. 3) Then download KatnissCapeCanaveral: https://github.com/Truthfulll/KatnisssCapeCanaveral-KSRSS/releasDroes/tag/1.0 - Download the source code .zip. Open it and you should see a GameData folder, inside it is the "KatnissCapeCanaveral" folder. Drop the KCC folder into your GameData. Recommended parts mods would be BDB and Modular Launch Pads. If you want to play career, get Skyhawk Science System and Contract Configurator. That should be everything, feel free to ask if you run into any problems! The latest version of scatterer is meant to be used with KSRSS Reborn. Delete scatterer in GameData and replace it with the latest release. As for the black line, I think that's the Day/Night terminator, but the dark side of the earth should be completely black. As said, latest scatterer should fix it.
  16. First, that band is called the Aurora Borealis, it's intentional and a real thing. Second, do you have Scatterer installed? Because you should and it wouldn't look like that if you did.
  17. delete the "_Configs" folder in "Parallax_StockTextures" . KSRSS even has built-in support for it, adds gilly scatters to Phobos and Deimos and the like
  18. No EVE configs, latest EVE and Scatterer. No clouds. Just reassembled my whole modlist from scratch through a pristine install. No clouds. It has to be incompatibility with another mod right? That's the only thing I can think of that would be possible in my instance. I've checked and double checked that I have the mod installed along with all dependencies. Here's my KSP log again with the pristine install. Any help is appreciated.
