  1. Here's your wheezy bean haircut. I want a casserole.
  2. I did my first free-return trajectory around the Mun as part of the new science save I'm doing to familiarize myself with Restock. Turns out "Free-return" is simplified-for-the-public-and-press speak for a gravity assist. Those parachutes are pretty but I'm confused as to why the drogue and the Mk16 have the same diameter.
  3. Granted. Assuming you're at your computer, it's now filled with bullet holes. I wish I could fly a space shuttle.
  4. When the drop in performance is caused by your sky-high mods count.
  5. I've noticed a lot of improperly balanced parts as well. A delta-v of 150,000 m/s is ridiculous, not even jet engines have an isp of 180,000.
  6. Hey, I recently tried installing the Interstellar Endurance mod, and my Lander part looks... janky. How did yours avoid this? Mine appears to be stretched vertically, badly. Also, how much do you plan on using it? Because I had a lot of control problems, like phantom roll, excessive pitching, etc. (Engines are not perfectly circular) Today I went on a figurative shopping spree on CKAN. Kinda overwhelmed at the flood of new parts, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. One of the biggest changes, however, was my installation of Z-Theme (KSP UI dark mode) and Restock. To anyone following Wrong Red Moon, some of the vessels are gonna get a bit of a jarring change visually. It's for the best but the intermediate transition will be the worst. The Ranger is pretty fun to fly. Getting to orbit and landing was a breeze.
  7. When the last hour has been spent surfing CKAN seeing if there's anything else I can do to drop KSP's performance.
  8. I've often dreamed about recreating Interstellar shot-for-shot in KSP someday...
  9. Same things here. No notification for TOTM Jan 2024 when I got it.
  10. *Wakes up with an antenna in his abdomen and buried in sand, with the oxygen alarm blaring its head off* *Also the Mars Ascent Vehicle and the rest of the crew are gone*
  11. Floor 4562: A large room, composed of rectangular white and dark grey panels. To reach the exit, you must use complicated puzzle-solving skills to prove your capabili- hey, what are you doing? Get back here! *You just walked over to the exit*
  12. Maybe the rest of the commercial payloads, or another of your craft fulfilling a similar duty?
  13. Awesome! I had to look back to verify that yes, I did indeed get a level three. I didn't even have that in mind! Lucky that I picked the crews I did. Yeah, one of the things I discovered in testing that pleasantly surprised me was that separatrons could lift the empty tanks with a higher TwR than my main engines. There were mild heating problems but those stages were gone so fast it didn't even matter. The stacked stages made the lander much easier to launch into LKO, which I favored because payloads wider than the rocket are tricky. I seem to have been placed in the "Jeb" category? Did I miss something or is this a mistake? Feels great to know this hard work wasn't for nothing! If I were to do it again, I'd use ISRU and the whole thing would be much smaller.
  14. That was delightful. To be fair, all planes deserve a good roast now and then to keep their hubris in check.
