  1. When you played the SNES emulator on the Switch so much that you keep wanting to press non-existent bumper buttons and rewind time to do it better.
  2. The #1 reason that happens to my rockets is because the center of pressure is above the center of mass. Add some big fins on the bottom and it will be much, much more stable. If they prevent you from landing on Laythe right side up, then add some detachable fins on top with a larger surface area, so that on the descent you can point retrograde just fine, and on the ascent, you can ditch them and point prograde just fine.
  3. Floor 4520: Logarithmic functions. In the middle of it all is a math nerd who insists on writing 2 as log base 2 of 4. This allows him to nest the log within itself since it defines and contains the number 2 at the same time.
  4. If I understand correctly, (I don't have KSP2) there are stock parts that provide Starship-like cargo bays, including the hinging nosecone. I don't think KAC is in stock KSP2, as KSP2 has no robotics parts yet. The "grabber" arms are just immobile structural panels for show.
  5. Engine alternator could help out too for a bit. They're pretty powerful.
  6. USC 13 and 14 were launched on my new hardcore science save. For now, I'm alternating Mun and Minmus missions until I work up to a Duna return. So far, I have yet to see any diminishing returns, since my new science parts and capabilities unlocked for each launch outweigh the science losses from doing the same thing every time. Next up will be USC 15, which will go to Minmus. This will be quite an overkill mission as the 1.8m core has been upgraded to 2.5m, and I went full asparagus on the side boosters. USC stands for Untitled Space Craft. I've used the same naming pattern on several other saves, but never so prominently before. It's because all these rockets are direct modifications from the previous model, traceable back to USC 1, your basic first-launch hopper. What's unique about this save was that my second launch got me into orbit.
  7. "We have been forced to admit that we used the JWST for cool selfies before it was launched."
  8. Compared to the size of the spherical hydrogen fuel tank, the scaffolding required isn't really that big. And besides, it looks like a cool bacteriophage when you do.
  9. Floor 4513: Every YouTube video claiming to showcase a "Non-Euclidean" game that is really just a regular game using some fancy tricks your computer can do.
  10. Woah, I like how the entire nosecone goes up to reveal the docking port! I'm not sure I've ever seen anything quite like it. Looks awesome!
  11. That makes a lot of sense for your goals, I can see that. I didn't think about the fact that a suborbital catch with no spent stages would let you reuse the lander.
  12. Granted, but the update turns it into Minecraft. I wish my potato could run KSP2 at 60 fps.
  13. Forgive me, but what's that dark tire-tread pattern to the right on the surface of Dres? Is it aligned with the equatorial ridge, the Dres canyon, or something else? Neat ship btw.
