  1. I always played GU for a while, but this planet pack mod really blow my mind, specially the whormhole stuff! It avoid players to fight the dark krakens of the interstellar space, wich is a buggy place, and i have to thanks for that... Very good job, looking forward to this!
  2. Where should i put this config file? Thx in advance
  3. Congrats for the release! Im testing it this weekend...
  4. OMG I can't wait anymore! lol When youre going to be able to release some of this? This, the EVE release, KSP 2... too much waiting is killing me hahaha
  5. Hi StarCrusher96! Are you sure? i reported in the GU thread that the FPS fall happens when i point the camera directly to the clouds, i only installed Tau Ceti system. I didnt upload a log file because i dont saw anybody else reporting this, but i can send you one via PM or as you like, so we dont hijack this thread.
  6. Nice Mod! I have installed GU but when i reach any other solar system, my FPS just collapse. Hope this get different with this mod. Honestly i just want ONE extra solar system to explore and thats it...
  7. Even the Fusion engines? noooooo (deep sigh)
  8. @StarCrusher96 First comment in this GREAT MOD thread! I finally got to Tau Ceti after several tries using KSPIE, but now I'm experimenting a hard fps downfall in cloudy worlds. Im only using EVE and Scatter, should i install the GU Stock clouds instead? It would help? If not, how can i make the GU worlds cloudyless? Thx in advance...
  9. Those ones was a whole new level of editing!!
  10. Oh ok, yeah i guess it would be unnecessary tricky add a new software you are not familiar with, to the workflow just for such an specific need, speaking for myself i didn't with Unity haha
  11. It may be possible if you could clone the original animation of the stock part directly from Unity, into your radiator model. Im not a Unity user but i pretty sure it could be done in Blender using Thaniwa's importer addon, in that case you can use the animation editor to smooth the key frames of the animated part and adjust them to your needs...
  12. Indeed i gonna open a Mission Report thread narrated story about a KSP 2 Interstellar style mission in KSP 1, and it would be my first thread ever in the forums
  13. This thread started when I first played this game six years ago, it's great to see it continue to this day! We will someday know the true about the informant? Due the kerbal tech goes faster than ours, we will see more advanced "alien vehicles" during the Shuttle era?
  14. I first found the presentation video on YT, glad to see this here too! Hope this keep forward
  15. Before this thread get closed (if get closed), i just want to thanks to the modders for keeping this alive, specially to @zer0Kerbal @Cyne You didn't disappoint anyone, on the contrary, lot of great mods had born this way here from the beggining of this forums: somebody make something great in is free time, then move forward and somebody else took it and making even greater. Hope this will the case. Is inspiring, to say at least.
  16. Hi everybody, and congratulation for the release guys! I was about to testing this, but after install it via CKAN (so i assumed the 5th step in the instructions is not needed anymore), ksp didnt load the main menu screen anymore. The game load without any warning or issue until the menu, then i get just a black screen with loading icon spinning at a good frame rate at least. should i provide a log file? Anyone else experienced this? Thx in advance...
  17. Hello everybody, same problem with dependency here: I was about to download this great mod for 1st time ever, but firespitter seems to be very outdated, im currently on 1.12.2 and is incompatible, anyone else had the same problem? PD: I honestly didnt read the 460 pages of this thread so if somebody mentioned this before, i apologize in advance.
  18. So... since i have V1.12.2 Can someone tell me if the integrated Persistent Thrust in KSPIE works better than this one? If yes, i would back to IE since i never did serious interstellar missions before, and is the last thing that i have left to do in KSP. thx in advance. Edit: I already tested KSPIE's Persistent Thrust and in fact works better than this one, indeed, better than my last experience with IE
  19. So far as i know anything adapted for ksp. Of course you can always go the scott manley vid about this, it never get old... I already do my own test, with all of the engines: putting a bunch of radiators like in the old days almost work, but my Daedalus ship is not interstellar anymore. Now i have to admit i go to the .cfg file and the heat production wasnt so big, wich means that problably there is a conflict with the HeatSystem mod, that i dont want to uninstall so i reduced the heat production from the config, same for the regular Epstein Drive, and i also allowed certain level of thrust in atmos 1100kn for discreted ssto. Still fighting to get a working waterfall plume on the Epstein drives...
  20. I all, im new in the forums, but an old KSP player since 2016 This mod would be awesome if not for 3 facts: - The Epstein drives heat up very fast during long burns, so is very difficult perform bachistochronics trajectories, wich is the point of this engines. In case this is only an issue in my instalation i can provide a log file if needed - No plumes, but im very sure i can try out this as im familiar with the method used in the Waterfall mod, its just im not too much familiar with Unity yet - In-atmos capabilities, even reduced ones. I know it can be tweaked in the .cfg file but im also sure it can be easily include as part of an update
  21. That's amazing, im aware about the fact that adding new parts but especially engines, involve a lot of other stuff to be concerned about too, glad to see you work on this like a whole pack... For some reason i never saw inline radiators before, another point to you. looking forward to this
  22. Hi! newbie forum user here, old KSP player. Hope you can made out something great with those engines, or just release them standalone(? Keep up the good stuff!
