Ah, the trailer shown was slightly different from the original one, which makes sense. They removed the Star Theory logo (but didn't add an Intercept Games one except for at the end screen?) and the "Lithobreaking near you in 2020" (Why not changed to 2023?)

Matt is on the Intercept Discord and his status is on playing Kerbal Space Program 2: Closed Beta He could just have renamed some other program but maybe he actually is playing the game

As people have already noticed in other Beta screenshots, there is quite a lot of aliasing... I hope this is just anti aliasing turned off or it gets added rather soon.. Also I noticed the trees and their shadows looking a bit not high quality. Maybe these are just low graphics settings

If this is true, it *could* be that the Kerbals arrive at an already exploded star, maybe even a black hole and when they meet the aliens they are telling them about when the star was there in their old times

Well the feature is mostly for use with colonies so I was expecting it to come with them, but I'd love seeing it on launch Edit: Yeah you're propably right, that is quite a big feature but not mentioned in the roadmap, which hopefully means it will be there on launch. Also on the topic of Early Access launch: do we know anything about the new resource system(not the processing in colonies obviously but maybe some else way) and maybe even booster recovery and whole reusable vehicles beeing there?

I think it has been said that contracts will no longer be a must like in carreer mode in KSP1 but still be there in some form for the players that want them.

Hmm... very good question. Maybe a fairing? It could also just be a not yet textured part, although I wouldn't expect something like that in Beta screenshots.

It must be pretty new. If I recall corretly I looked at the Steam page yesterday and these were not there. This screenshots look amazing and this is amazing news! We're coming closer to release and it is looking good!

I remember Snutt talking about having interesting new possibilities in zero-g enviroment for constructing vehicles in orbit. This could just mean being able to build bigger and not needing to lift off from a launchpad, but it could also be something more. Any ideas? I alsovwonder how the orbital vehicle construction editor will look like, because it has to be different from the Kerbin VAB, because they said some parts(like interstellar engines) won't fit in there and we'll have to construct them in orbit. Sorry for the spoilers, haven't figured out yet how I can remove them on mobile
