This made me laugh. I agree, they hyped up the failures in all the development videos and now you can’t have them. This reminds me of the solar panels on that stock rover. An absolute facepalm moment. -

Yeah, the development path was absolutely flipped, with them working on “stuff we want to add to KSP” instead of rebuilding KSP and getting a solid framework.

Real life is a technical masterpiece of game design, but the lack of tutorials is something that still haunts the fanbase.

On a side note, is anyone also annoyed that it says “your vehicle is out of electric charge” when you EVA? I really think Paige needs to be removed or seriously reworked. -

This seems more RNG than skill. The only way to be completely safe from bugs is to not play the game, as bugs aren’t something you can control. -

This happened to me too. If you lose a single part, even near the very end of your mission, it disables staging and says “mission failed.” Not only is this against the kerbal spirit, it’s also annoying, and incredibly unrealistic. When the oxygen tank exploded on Apollo 13, did they say “mission failed,” and revert to the VAB? -
This didn’t age well.

To be honest, I didn’t get the hype around patch 1, but I played around a bit today and I can say I’m warming up to this game. I feel like this patch will make the game better and fixes some crucial errors.

Don’t have the skill to do any of this, but I like the “One Oscar” design, and may use it as an inspiration.

I have a recurring nightmare where about two months in, they slash the price in half and add microtransactions to profit off the people like me who paid full price on launch day. -
On launch, my computer will freeze, emit a sound like a buzz saw, and then blue screen of death on launch, when I have graphics on custom settings, leaning towards low, and am at recommended with RAM and CPU and in between minimum and recommended with GPU. Is it my build of the game, or what is wrong?
