  1. And I'm very curious how they'll handle it. But spreading that information will be prolonged as long as possible.
  2. For some (many) things, you really don't need it. Take MP for example. Can you explain it to me how it could function in a game like KSP? MP is my biggest gripe with development decisions. Even Nate said many potential features we're dropped 'cause they were incompatible with it. Instead of scaling a whole game towards it, they could have scale the MP down. No time warp. You can race others with rovers, planes, rockets... That would be fun enough, and it would tone down complexity a lot.
  3. I can spin that argument both ways. If a lot was lost, communicating that would remove a lot of frustration. On the other hand, if it wasn't, it would cause mass hysteria. Is lack of comms regular for T2 or not? I wish devs had more freedom to speak up.
  4. Which is why I'm still baffled why (semi) procedural parts were never considered. Sure, progression unlocking 'n all, but oh boy, they had a golden opportunity to improve that.
  5. I don't think any of the roadmap steps exist. Posting this answer yet again, notice the last words "under construction". Same was said for heating. Nate often told us that teams are working in parallel on each roadmap update. Whatever happened in the first studio overturn, I bet only a few graphical assets survived. The rest was scraped and started over, which can explain the state of the game at launch. I'm wondering if it's easier to implement and test these underlying systems as you go. If all of the above is true, I believe they did try their best to deliver something in a reasonable speed, considering the circumstances.
  6. The point is to yell back at them for the reasons above.
  7. For 50$, EA and general censorship on development, some way (unverified) is equivalent of showing us all a middle finger. Thanks T2.
  8. Something tells me dev team is equally, if not more, frustrated that they cannot speak up.
  9. I actually wanted to open up a new thread to ask forum members to refrain from personal attacks. We've no idea what went on behind the curtains. Sure, we're all angry and disapointed, but let's not judge too quickly.
  10. @PDCWolf Just a minor miscommunication. You've answered my question in the last reply.
  11. I've added additional answer after that post. Optional donation capability. Now... this can also be turned into a scam, but how would you resolve the problem?
  12. With non-refundable donation option if you wanna support the project during development itself. Sure, why not.
  13. Keep it free, until finished version arrives seems to clear out that particular issue. If it's cancelled, allow selling what is there so far. Whoever finds it valuable will chip in.
  14. Because they're angry and wish for things to change. It's funny how you're not even trying to defend your original point. Keep circling.... awaiting snip snip
  15. Or slowly tying up a few loose ends. At this point, only working software has any relevance. Any of their statements now completely lost all credibility.
  16. Ehr... Performance is still an issue if you have many vessels. Looking the game from v1 perspective, it's obvious you'll need to support far more "active vessels" than in KSP 1. Wobble was not fixed. Wobble was temporarily patched for FS! update. Official comment on that is here. Judging by other dev chats, it sounds like this game started actual development in 2022.
  17. Ubisoft will acquire the IP, and add radio towers that kerbals will have to climb, to reveal where on Kerbin they can mine resources.
  18. Isn't that even worse? I was very hopeful for the game, thinking that many bugs are a product of something else. Until FS came in where foundational issues came into focus. This is the tricky part of this game. If it took em 4 years for the makeup, how much do you think it would have taken them for hardcore problems? It's like a movie-set house. A painted front with nothing in the back.
