We've found a handful of former CCC-DA personnel roaming the desert in a Humvee. We are currently apprehending the rogue operatives. The tracks left in the sand are a straight line heading west. LOCK and three of my troops are moving forward to scout while we finish sweeping the Airfield. Echo One, out."

    Two messages were left on the CCC-DA Director's advanced CCC communication system. NOTICE: The CCC-DA is to be disbanded effective immediately. All personnel and assets are to be transferred to the CCC-DC for reassignment. Director Manfred Kerman CORRECTION: Sigman Kerman is to be brought to the CCC-DC Administrative Council for trial on charges of betrayal and disregard for orders. *** And then the second one, an intercepted transmission: CCC-DC - SUPPORT ROBOT "TICK" - RELAYING STATUS MESSAGE - CAPTAIN DAVID O'HARVIS KERMAN - TASK FORCE ECHO: "Echo One to command. We've reached the CCC-DA branch headquarters. We're in the process of fully surveying the area, but the facility seems deserted. We've surveyed the armories and hangars. The armories were only partially empty, and the hangars still had all of the Rangers and fighter jets inside, thought only some were still in a flyable condition. We're sweeping the office blocks right now. Echo One, out." *** The message was intercepted only a few minutes ago.

    Thank you all so much for the TOTM nomination! I can't tell you how happy I am right now!!! I honestly thought that my mission report would never be very popular. I never would have imagined that I would get Thread of the Month! The Sky is Not the Limit is not over, and a new chapter will be coming this weekend! I'm just going to announce it here because I'm so ecstatic: Volume 2 will be titled "Permanant Presence" with the goal of colonizing the Kerbin System. Thank you all again!

    I just came on, saw these comments in my notifications, and then I checked the TOTM September, and I was like, "YOOOOOOO!!!" I'm just so happy that my little mission report got TOTM! Thank you so much to all of you who follow The Sky is Not the Limit! I'm so happy you all love my writings, and more will be on the way! EDIT: Also, I made this post in the official TOTM thread. I thought you'd want to see it here.

    Say click and then a random fact! CLICK! For his movie Interstellar, Christopher Nolan had 500 acres of corn planted so that the scenes with the fields of corn looked as authentic as possible. After filming was done the corn was harvested and sold to make some money back from the production.

    Bob copies the hard drive onto multiple USBs (for redundancy). He then tells DONN and GALE to quickly load up NEST's remains onto one of the Rangers for investigation. GALE volunteers to pilot Ranger-2 back to Bravo-19 while DONN and Ranger-1 pursues MJ-0. He volunteers because GALE got all the action last time. DONN and the crew board Ranger-1 and activate VTOL and engines at the same time! Jeb uses his excellent piloting skills to "hover" above the surface as they chase MJ-0.

    DONN's sensors pick up a high count of Gravioli particles just west of the anomaly. He thinks that this one is probably unrelated...? The heroes board their Ranger and fly over to the second anomaly. They land their ship some distance away just in case and walk the rest of the way. They find a huge army of MechJebs, with MJ-0 leading them. DONN also spots the damaged Ranger-41, and the mangled remains of NEST, which fills him with anger. We have them in our sights. What do we do?

    The CCC sends a Bravo-Class IXV (Interplanetary eXploration Vehicle), named Bravo-19, to Vall, carrying Jeb, Val, Bill, Bob, GALE, and DONN. Jeb and Bob are dispatched with DONN to the surface onboard Ranger-1, while Val and Bill wait on Bravo-19.

    There's a UI for Mission Control, but the current KSC in KSP2 doesn't seem to have any Mission Control buildings. Or is there one and I just didn't notice?
