  1. to make the whole concept less OP, you could split the part into a series of parts, with each performing their own function. IMO this would be more fun.
  2. this was my 5th flight I think, first time going orbital. The North Pole is very pretty 30-40 something'th flight, good thing I built an escape tower REALLY good thing I built an escape tower escape tower in use once again, and if you look closely you can see the debris field that was one Aelitis-1
  3. latest jet, R-5 Ronin very sleek and stylish, can go into a vertical climb like it's no big deal. Climb rate of 235 m/s. Still haven't gotten the landing down. my isn't Kerbin beautiful, Squad just needs to add forests, instead of the odd tree or two here and there.
  4. so I downloaded and welded 4 trusses and 4 radial connector ports to a tank. I select the part and it wouldn't let me connect my command pod to the 2.5m tank that's part of the weld. BUT it does let me connect the truss that's part of the welded part. so basically: I create a welded part, won't let me connect it normally, only lets me connect if I flip it to the right
  5. would this plugin work if I had, say, welded a hitchhiker and some batteries and an SAS together?
  6. would it be possible to make the batteries work like wheels in the sense that if they got bumped too hard, it would fail to some extent and a kerbal would have to come and repair it?
  7. oh my god, I was thinking of the exact same function earlier, to have an in-game method of welding two parts and turning them into one to reduce part count the timing on this could not have been better is it possible to weld a tank and a decoupler together?

  9. my Venera-2 vehicle got some pretty good gravity/atmospheric readings without all the fuss of landing and miraculously, the probe survived
  10. unfortunately the objects appear to be very 2-dimensional

  12. darn, right after I built my Duna base QUESTION: I added the KAS grab and attach module to a slew of parts. When I download 4.0, will the things that I added KAS to still work?
  13. at first I didn't realize you had to click on the text box at the top to name your craft. I was expecting that part to pop up when I saved it. In other words, all my crafts were called "untitled craft" until I realized.

  15. decided to start surface operations on Duna after my crew's tenure in the orbital station over Duna dropping in the base all lo-fi like instead of conventional landing legs, this base has 2 pairs of user operated hinges to which the legs are connected. This lets the base commander to raise and lower the height of the base to avoid damage from flash floods during monsoon season. comes with detachable rover

  17. barely, last I checked it had twelve units of oxidizer left, enough to lower my 70km perigee. It also has a couple drops of liquid fuel left to left me land on the reentry
  18. yes, it was during a rendezvous over the Mun moment of collision aftermath one ship ran out of oxygen, the other ran out of electricity. I used KAS to bolt a solar panel onto what was left of the lander, which lost some radial batteries
  19. hahahah that looks like it will be a blast! is there gonna be a new "science" resource that we return to kerbin? are we gonna have big science tanks for storing it all?
