Hi @SayNoToRedShell. Welcome to the forum! We had an existing thread about this issue, so I merged the two together. People are going to be so confused about your name in the future when this issue has long been sorted out

Just a clarification: the EULA doesn't supercede the forum rules or the add-on posting rules. We have received no special instructions, so unless we hear otherwise, it seems we can just carry on as usual. I recommend taking it to the EULA thread if you have any questions, unless you want this one flooded for 50 pages
-
Ah OK sorry, I didn't realise you had already fixed it, thanks! Nah man, not the EULA, the Add-on Posting Rules:

Hi! It's great that you plan on fixing that, but since it's a rule for posting mods on the forum, please could you add the source without waiting for the next update? Thanks =)
-
Maybe make those posts in that thread?

Sorry, we have no information on that yet But welcome to the forum!

That's what I mean. Removing or scrambling the email address would be to effectively ban the person unless he knows the email address and never forgets it.

@klesh Oh right, then it has changed. Thanks for testing that. I'm sure we wouldn't quibble about it if someone wanted us to remove their email address from the system. It would mean they can't log on, though, so it's effectively a ban.
-
Unless something recently changed, you should be able to just put in blahblahblah@whatever.I.am.totally.making.this.up in there. It shouldn't send out a confirmation email as far as I know
-
Actually, everything I said was true. You don't need a moderator to remove your email address from your account. Go ahead and try it, it's accessible in your profile.

Walking Kerbals on moving vessels
Deddly replied to Enceos's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
? I think it's quite a simple idea to understand: Moving vessel, EVA = ragdoll (or just slide off the back of the craft). Try it on a rover =) The suggestion is to fix that. Simple idea, maybe difficult to implement. But wow would that be nice to have! -
Anyone know how to break (landing) legs?

Moved Gameplay Question to Gameplay Questions -
Looks like we're already on to something here. As has been mentioned, the docking ports appear to be the wrong way around. You also need two docking ports pointing towards each other if you want them to work Moved to Gameplay Questions for you

Nice to have you with us, @Dexter249. Welcome aboard!

Well, there are many reasons, but the biggest reason from the perspective of a regular user is the effect it would have on all other users who have ever had an interaction with that user. Imagine seeing all over the forum posts by nobody and going back through your PM messages and seeing you had a conversation with nobody. You come across a nice guide or mod and it's by nobody, and nobody gave you a bunch of "likes" for some content you provided. Or, depending on how such a deletion were to be handled, imagine all those posts being completely removed along with the account deletion. Imagine the number of broken links, the replies to posts that are suddenly without context... it would be a mess. Basically, signing up to a public message board like this one is not a private thing - you make posts that are intended to be read by the general public. These posts are all cross-linked and referred to in any number of ways and suddenly removing an account can cause unforeseen problems.

Testing RT-5 Contract - at very low speed!
Deddly replied to vert flea's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I'm glad you worked it out. Well done! It would be great if you could click the little tick box to the top-left of one of the replies that you feel answers your question most concisely, to mark the issue as solved and others will find it easier to locate the answer when they search for the same problem. Thanks! -

Testing RT-5 Contract - at very low speed!

But it's really, really easy -
Testing RT-5 Contract - at very low speed!
Deddly replied to vert flea's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Hey there @vert flea, and a very warm welcome to you! I moved your post to Gameplay Questions so you get the best answers. The contract wants you to have the speed between 10 m/s and 110 m/s at the same time as you are higher than 42,000 but lower than 46,000 m. So all you really need to do is slow the rocket down (as you know). To do that, the easiest way is to launch straight up and possibly remove some more fuel from the booster so that the booster burns out and gently coasts up to around the maximum contract height before falling back. This helps reduce the speed because the speed on the meter is actually vertical speed AND horizontal speed measured together. You only need vertical speed to complete the contract. =) -
The courts would have to decide, in the case of a dispute.
