KSP2 Release Notes

A lot of the same staff was retained in retained in the move to the new studio, and the parent studio Private Division, remained the same. Many department heads were retained, including the creative director who is an admitted long time kerbal fan, so I'm pretty sure he has a pretty good idea what the game will entail. And very few games ever show the actual gameplay footage early on, the games go through too many iterations to keep those tech demos around. But all that said, I'm pretty confident it will stay true to the original's intent and be so much more.

Yup, I misread the OP and thought he wanted to target a building, not an object. Got that backwards. It can work, but stock KSP is really not designed for this. Get one of the mods. -
The spiders usually look for new pages or connections to other pages. So a rise in normal forum traffic usually means a rise in spider traffic too after the first couple spiders notice an increase in new pages.

I highly doubt it will. It's the Kerbal Space Program, not the Kerbal Aerial Combat Program. At least for the stock game. You should take a look at the BDArmory mod. It has weapons and targeting items in it. -
This is not a chat thread. Some posts have been removed. Please refrain from posting contentless posts here, we already have a couple useless threads for that type of stuff.

Then in that case, you just have to point the missile in the right direction and fire, and hope it flies straight. There's no way to have a missile lock onto a target without your input in the stock game. -

Hi @Claas2008, are you using a weapons mod, or are you playing the stock game? -
There's something odd about you @kerbiloid, but don't stop.

Spiders Those attendance stats count any user that is viewing the site. Web search sites like google or yahoo use bot programs to crawl the internet to populate their search databases. These bots are called web crawlers or “spiders”. They merely open a connection to a web page, and catalog what’s on it. So when the forum says 6k users online, the vast majority of those were just bot connections scanning the forums. This has been the Norm for just about any forum I have been on over the past 25 years or so.

Moved to Kerbal Network as this is not about the game. I like it @T-20000

Well about 20 minutes after posting the pic, my phone decided to find another 650 messages out of the blue. So yeah, I'd like to hit 100k. -

Well... the forum search function actually worked well. Lost about 8k when I upgraded my 10 year old phone this spring, but I'm back on track... -
I made a pretty decent answer to this question a couple days ago in this very thread. Just scroll up a bit.

That is a topic we are currently investigating. Under the new update, the "correct answer" is now highlighted at the top of the thread for easy navigation. The old system was sorted by Votes to keep the best answer up top. Because the new system works without sorting by votes and still shows the best answer, we looked into setting "sort by date" as the forum default. Sadly though, with this update, that is not an option right now, but inquiries are being made to get this done.
