  4. I can't tell you how many times the autosave has saved my career, I'm modded up to the memory limit so I get a lot of crashes. autosave seem to kick in after burns and SOI changes.

  10. If you are seeing ablative shield as part of your resources panel then it's working (as far as I know) I think you can tweak the heating effects by changing the 'temperatureExponent =' setting in the DeadlyReentry.cfg file.
  11. Sunshine deserves a mention, I was quite enjoying that until the ridiculous plot twist after they board the other ship, completely ruined the film.

  13. I'd love to use this, looks nicer than BA4, but the dependencies are just crazy. I can understand ATM and EVE but the rest should be down to individual choice. Hot Rockets and Cool Rockets both have too many issues, the latest chatterer doesn't work as well as the really old version i'm already using and Soundtrack Editor is just putting more crap into the game that I don't want, I don't listen to the music. Dependencies should be as minimal as possible, not forcing everyone to have exactly the same mod list.
  14. space stations and bases aren't really much fun for me at the moment. If I ever get a monster gaming rig or if squad ever get round to optimizing I'd love to build those.

  17. don't confuse statutes with morality, there is no connection only common law is based on morality. statutes are a legal trick that only apply to corporations, but because of people's lack of knowledge in the law and the corruption of legal establishments they are applied to citizens as a source of income for the private courts.
  18. First time I landed on the Mun I underestimated the dv required to get back and had to get out and push for a good twenty minutes to get the periapse into Kerbin's atmosphere.
  19. did you wait more than a couple of minutes? the first time you load a new texture with Active Texture Management it can take quite a while to make the cache files. that particular file is very big and will take some time to compress. EDIT apologies Fenrir, I was a bit slow posting there.

  21. Great idea, would it be possible to add in a downtime requirement for kerbals so that after a mission individual crewmembers can't be used for a certain amount of time?
  22. Me too, love the Total War games (I think Rome 2 fell a bit short of the mark) occasionally Modded Civ 4 but really just waiting for a few releases at the moment. Especially the Forest, open alpha begins in a few weeks and it already looks stunning and I love survival horror
