  1. Never used it so can't miss it. Don't really see why anybody would really want it seeing as it was just a (moderately fun) bug. May as well mod in infinite fuel for jet engines, it's the same result.
  2. Autostruts are fantastic. The problem with them is that poorly auto-strutted craft blow and lead to Kraken attacks. That's why they're in advanced tweakables. You can't just autostrut everything to everything. If people used fuel tanks like they use autostrut, people would complain that fuel tanks suck. I use Autostrut on every craft I make that's taller than 30 or so meters, and not once have I had an issue with it. To be fair, those monstrosities would never, ever be launchable in anything resembling real life. EDIT to make this on topic. Options are good in a game like this. I'd hate for half of the stuff others want to be forced into the game. I also don't want to be forced to mod stuff OUT of the game. I'd like my mods to add things, not remove them.
  3. Voted "Never Once" because that's closer to the spirit of the correct answer than any other ones. I ran a YouTube series years ago where my viewers submitted craft for me to fly. So I downloaded those. I have helped the occasional player here and there troubleshoot an issue with their craft. So I downloaded those. That's it. Nothing other than that, ever.
  4. When you accept a contract you get funds. I can't say that's how it happened here but I frequently start careers with 0 starting funds with the intent to get all my money from contracts.
  5. 15 days? Jeez I've given up on bugs 10 times older than that. You may want to pull up a chair.
  6. Stuck in my head today? Fat chance. Try all frickin' week.
  7. I don't *know* that it's inherently bad idea. I just think it is. But you can still implement a bad idea in the best way and I think the best way is the way DMP did it. We're talking past each other now though and you are right that I don't actually have any irons in this fire so how well it burns isn't really any of my business. So I will pull out of it unless something I feel I've not already addressed is specifically directed at me.
  8. Because it's the best way to implement an inherently bad idea? Frankly I hope they do time warp voting so when nobody likes that way either I'll have more proof that no one really wants to play KSP multiplayer, they just think they do.
  9. Look into Custom Barn Kit. It allows for configuration of many Space Center options, including number of contracts actually up for offer. I was mistaken. I think maybe Contract Configurator will do this.
  10. Elon Musk does not own the entire Earth (yet)
  11. Like I said, no clue. Maybe DMP isn't popular because after people try multiplayer they realize how inherently bad an idea it is. Maybe they never put multiplayer in stock KSP for the same reason. Only time (and KSP2 actually having multiplayer) will tell.
  12. Caveat: I won't use any multiplayer system as I won't play multiplayer at all. If you expect players will want to play multiplayer but not actually do things together (as you seem to or all these paradoxes you say will happen wouldn't happen if everybody was working together) then a warp voting system basically eliminates interplanetary missions. The ONLY way to do an interplanetary mission with warp restrictions is to do it together. If not, you're going to take weeks if not months of real life time to reach your destination. Unless you wait until everybody else goes to bed and warp without them. And you're the server owner.
  13. It is entirely possible with KIS. Land your ship as close to the part as you can. 5 meters or so ideally Have a wrench or power drill. Hold g to grab and click the part. Hold h to attach and click the ship.
  14. While I too chuckle at that one, it was 100% correct at the time. It'd be like quoting "The Red Coats are coming" and snidely remarking about how they're not.
  15. Pretty much every non-EA game I've ever bought. And most of the EA ones too.
  16. The possibility of giving a simple and easy to understand answer will go down as you progress through the game. Luckily, your need for them will also go down. Space is hard.
  17. Because stock KSP is not dependent on them, I'd guess. But I'm not a programmer.
  18. Super simple. Just don't install them. The game runs fine
  19. It sure looks like it should work. Check out the suggestions in this thread, I bet it's one of these problems.
  20. I really don't see the problem. If you want your play that diverged from your friends, why are you playing multiplayer? That may sound rhetorical but I don't want to play MP KSP anyway so it's hard for me to out myself in that head space. Why would someone not want to be synchronized with the other players at every opportunity, if they had chosen to play with them in the first place? Why would docking first be more important than playing together?
  21. Many things could be wrong. An image of your station at the time of docking may help. But my first thought is you're using Sr. docking ports and one of them was mounted backwards.
  22. From what I know of DMP no they cannot. They must first sync to the station because it exists "for real" (i.e. in human time) in the future in a changed state.
