I can't say. I've been offered one class action lawsuit. People were suing Netflix for having late fees, because Netflix was making you pay the monthly fee that you agreed to pay for rentals, even if you only rented one dvd and never returned it. I'll let you decide for yourself who you think was taking advantage of whom but I opted to not join the lawsuit. I don't know how it went for those who did. If something similar came up with Take Two I'd weigh the merits in a similar fashion. But to be frankly honest no. I don't expect to ever feel the need to sue Take Two or any other company.

The only word (I know of) that sounds the same after removing all vowels AND after removing 80% of the letters.

Stranded short on fuel
Superfluous J replied to MPDerksen's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Or hop each kerbal out and have them use their jetpacks to get into orbit. It's pretty likely going to be easier to do 2 orbital rendezvous maneuvers to pick them up, than a precision landing with a large and possibly unwieldy craft. -
No. That they've never done it to me. I (and I suspect you) can't really speak with any authority on what Take Two has done with others in the past. Let's assume for the sake of argument though that you and I don't agree on the idea that every time a company files a lawsuit against a person, that person is completely without blame and the company is evil and doing it just to make everybody sad.

You don't need a satellite (though it's a good idea). You need a relay antenna. Source: https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Antenna Neither the 88-88 nor the 16-s is a relay antenna. The 16-s will happily talk to a relay and use that relay - if possible - to talk to Kerbin even from a ground base like you have. But it can't with the 88-88. If you were able to teleport a second ground base with a RA-100 Relay Antenna on it (the equivalent of the 88-88 but also a relay) to your rover, then it'd work fine through that antenna. From Duna, you don't really need that big an antenna though. But that's a different discussion.

I just did a couple test runs and I *think* I can do this in 4 launches. Here's my plan: Basic Science from launchpad, flying, and landed in the grasslands. Basic, Temp, and Barometric Science from high space and low space of Kerbin, Mun, and Minmus, plus EVA science orbiting over every biome of the 3 worlds, plus a unique Kerbin biome on return. The above plus Seismic scan landed in every Minmus biome, plus a unique Kerbin biome on return. Plus, an attached science car to fully farm KSC of all science minus Gravioli and Atmospheric (not unlocked) The above plus Gravioli and Atmospheric somewhere to be determined, plus a unique Kerbin biome on return, plus the science car again if needed and warranted. Not 100% sure I'm going to enter, but if I do, that's the plan

What was the first thing you did when you bought KSP?
Superfluous J replied to KerbolExplorer's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I still haven't actually played most of the tutorials (I think I did like the first 2) and I didn't know Manley existed back then. -
MIPT just reversed time... for a certain definition of time
Superfluous J replied to DAL59's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Well the obvious practical application of this will be in the reversing of the tachyon flow in a sensor array. I mean, when you can do that you can do anything. -
Here's a simple way to determine how this will affect you. Remember back to all the legal battles you've had with Squad and Take Two in the past. How you were treated in the courts and how much money you spent. How they had the upper hand and you didn't have a leg to stand on because they were a big company that could hire lawyers and you were just some person with no clout and without gobs of money. Then realize that now you'll instead be going to arbitration with Take Two. You'll be treated about the same and have to spend roughly the same amount of money. They will have the upper hand and you won't have a leg to stand on because they're a big company that can hire lawyers and you're just some person with no clout and without gobs of money.

I have no idea. I do remember the last thing I did before buying it, which was landing on Mun in the demo. -

Benefit of more AirIntake?
Superfluous J replied to Jestersage's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Any advice you saw that said to spam 50 intakes on a plane is likely at from before 1.0 dropped, when they actually did help. I would not follow any advice from that source, as the game has significantly changed since then, especially everything relating to atmospheres. -
So long as the only force acting is the gravity between the two bodies then no, it won't degrade. Of course in the real world there'd be other things to worry about like the fact that space (especially near a massive body) isn't a pure vacuum, so it would.

As the writer of the first post and creator of the mod said, those are on the first post. I'm not sure why someone would be hiding more useful links somewhere else, but rest assured they are not. Gone are the days when a new KSP version broke 90% of mods. Now it doesn't even break 10% of them. Unless people are complaining, you can pretty much assume a mod works.

Anyone struggling with fuel tanks?
Superfluous J replied to Scarecrow's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I sort by mass and 90% of the part locations are instantly obvious to me. The rest take a time or two to get and I tend to memorize the ones I use often. -
Need rudimentary help about fuel flow
Superfluous J replied to FloppyRocket's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
While this is a totally valid way to do it (and frankly it's the way I still do it even after discovering this next thing) there is a better way. Unlike KER, the stock dV system knows that you'd want to drop those tanks and engines. So, as long as your staging and fuel priorities are the default asparagus setup, and you didn't confuse the game with docking ports, you can confidently stage away when the current stage reads 0m/s. -
There's also a stealthy way to do it Okay it's not so stealthy but hey it's a way to do it.

Remote Control?
Superfluous J replied to Elroy Jetson's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I like to just toss up a half dozen or so in different orbits. I usually just take the first 6-10 "put a satellite in orbit around Minmus" contracts I'm offered, and complete them all with relay antennas. You won't get 100% coverage 100% of the time, but if you wait on the surface until you've got a signal you should be fine. -
Sorry I don't have the time to load your save. One bad but workable option is to build 2 craft, the rover and the ship, each with about as much fuel is in the current ship. Put each on the pad and then use alt-f12 to rendezvous them with the current craft (watch out for clipping. You may have to rendezvous the 2nd thing with the first thing instead of with the original craft). Transfer all the people and science over, then in the tracking station delete the old craft. And if you're hurting for cash you can even edit the persistent file to up your money to cover the cost of the replacement ship and rover. I can't give advice on multiple docking ports, I never use them.
