^^ this. On the lower settings, the ground is higher up than on the higher settings. sounds weird but that's just the way it is. so if u go and launch a base and land it while on high terrain settings, if you change the terrain setting to low, the base will then explode because it will be under the ground. Hope this helps, ToTheMun

If you copied the entire "Kerbal Space Program" folder from within the "SteamApps/common" folder, than NOTHING - ABOSOLUTELY NOTHING is different from the copied version to the original UNTIL you change something. If you deleted "settings.cfg" that's why. Otherwise there is no reason. Unless you copied between computers. That can through up some issues.

Please read this thread and provide a bit more info on your problem. Are you running modded or stock? What are your system specs? What windows version are you running? What else are you running when you launch KSP? Also please provide the "KSP.log" which is in the same directory as "KSP.exe". I have read through the log, and it also shows that you crashed when you entered a flight? By start the game in anyway, do you mean you mean making it to the main menu, going to other option screens or is it just starting a new flight? Cheers, ToTheMun

Depending on how they code to work with multithreading, the performance and physics lag may even become worse. I imagine if they do run into that problem they won't actually release it until they are able to remove said multithreading bottle-neck, although a bottle-neck on multithreading is not that usual. It all lies down to how the devs code the multithreading physics.

Is it possible to select ALL of those options. Because all of them fit me

The way I see it, is that if the devs have not changed engine by version 1.0, than they will not be changing until a long time into the future, if at all. I think that it would make sense that after the bulk of the game is finished AFTER version 1.0, the devs should start work on transferring KSP over to a new engine. Once they have that whole job of rewriting and re-implementing done, than KSP version 2.0 is born. The engine could be their own custom engine, or could just be a different, more well-fitted engine for KSP and KSP's genre.

Space planes going wack?
Bilfr3d replied to Jean Deaux's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Wait, the craft were from a previous save, correct? No I am not having this issue, but it could be linked to your crafts being from a previous save. Although I don't think SAS has been changed in the 0.25 update... -
BeachBall of Death
Bilfr3d replied to LtHaus's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Try running KSP with the lowest of the low graphics settings. You only have a integrated HD 300 GPU which, lets face it, isn't very powerful. If your running a Sandy or Ivy bridge, than it might be better, but I have not looked at your CPU model yet. And the highest temperature you have had is 195F? That is not right. If your temperature is that high, your problem is overheating. The components in your laptop cannot run at their full speeds when under heat like that, and I'm surprised that the laptop is still ON and actually FUNCTIONING at that sort of heat. Hope this helps, ToTheMun -
Hmm... if I remember correctly it was something a little bit bizarre. I never even did the tutorials, I just went straight into the game. Built this huge contraption of SRBs. 1 SRB. 8x symmetry SRB. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Copy entire thing. 8x Symmetry. Command pod. Done. It went very well.

Space planes going wack?

Wrong area. Just saying. This should be support or gameplay questions. First of all, uninstall mechjeb. Then try it. I don't really have much else advice, except you should contact a mod to have this either locked or moved. You will get more specific attention in the proper regions of the forum. Cheers ToTheMun -
Ah right. A few measures of general tips: 1. Try using your install disc (I assume OS X has it, I don't know I'm windows ) - if not, try getting a fresh Yosemite install however you OS X users get them 2. I would also recommend doing a test of your memory. Download memtest (Download ISO) and search up some youtubes for putting that onto a disc. Boot into that disc after you have burnt memtest to the disc and let the memory test run. Be aware this takes awhile as it is fairly thorough. After it is complete it should tell you about the status of your memory somewhere on screen. Obviously, having no errors is good. Having some is not. Have a crack at these too and reply with your results Hope this helps, ToTheMun P.S. Corrupt, damaged or malfunctioning memory may be causing all the problems here, which is why I am recommending for you to run memtest

Those are one of those moments when it needs to be turned off I feel honoured that so many mods are replying to my thread without telling me its locked xD Thanks mods and all others for posting and voting

Nearly every un-controllable vehicle I launch somehow hits the VAB or SPH.... and destroys them. There was that one time it destroyed the R&D facility instead... but that's another story. So it got me thinking - How many other people have this problem vote in the poll, post below or do both and tell us of your fate with the destructible buildings.

Well, it helps if you download a texture pack doesn't it? I would not recommend NOT downloading one. It's very hard to play without one Great job Nathan.

Can't Download
Bilfr3d replied to Daman453's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Were going to need a bit more info... Check this thread out With the current information, I would say that the zip file has corrupted in some way or another while downloading it or transferring it. Somehow it seems to have become corrupted. I would recommend re-downloading KSP from the store site, and try opening it again. Cheers, ToTheMun -
It was because of a subroutine in windows that looks for the version of windows. If it sees any part of "9" in that version, it goes "NOPE" and crashes. Hence, why the fast forward to windows 10. that's just a brief explanation of it. Google the whole thing.

EBOLA!!! XD on a more serious note tho, are you ok? I mean, your mouth bleeding. :I

In case u didn't realise, the rules say "inert" payload. if that second stage has any engines on it, your entry is not allowed. Not that i'm saying it does have one, but from the description it sort of sounds like it does. I'll definitely be having a crack at this challenge. I have a few good ideas up my sleeve
-
Nice. Im definitely going to be buying this than
-
Right. so, from reading through the posts here I get the jist u can either accept contracts, do trading or attack other ships. Is that right?
-
What is the main objective of E: D guys? I've been researching it a bit but the wikis don't really tell u much. I'm thinking about buying it but cant make my mind up because I don't know enough about it Cheers,

Poor Whincup.... ran out of fuel he should've reserved and just taken 2nd place. Also feeling for Van Gisburgen. The bloody starter motor fried after he stalled it at the pits Think it was Van Gisburgen anyway.
